I was looking for something different that I could purchase to entertain my extremely energetic and easily board nephews. Video games, computers, and television are all the things they have already and these things they have.. No longer keep them entertained.. Not at their homes nor at mine.

This makes it a real challenge for me when they visit or I have to baby sit for long periods. Back and fourth they roam, from room to room, looking like confused aimless Zombies.
So.. I send them outside and they'll play for maybe an half hour or less, than there' back inside talking me to death until I want to scream! or...they'll get into a fight, because there's nothing better to do.

On one of their visits i took them to the park where i walked upon some sort of children's day event. There were clowns, balloons, and games. One game in particular caught their attention.

I had seen this game before at places I could not recall at the moment, but had no idea what it was called or how...

I have a love hate thing with dryer sheets, they like to hitch rides on the bottom of my shoes, stick to the very back of my dryer..hide in and under my dryer..and if I don't remove them at the time that I spot them, they are going to pile up and become bigger than the pile of un-washed laundry that I have in my hampers and on the floor.

Yet.. I'm not one for fabric softener's, Ther'e thick and gooey .enough of that is already going on with my liquid washing detergent's... need I add more to this gooey gloppiness!

I have also tried the Bounce Dryer bar in ( Outdoor Fresh scent ). Still working on what to think of it.

I really don't need fabric sheets or softeners. They won't make or break me, but I like them..

So today I purchased Bounce Dryer Sheets in the Outdoor Fresh Scent. I could tell I was going to like it after I placed my nose up to the box and sniffed it. Infact I sniffed several different scented boxes of Bounce, but I liked this one the most.

Mmm" smells like a mixture...

The new Bounce dryer bar, I think is a good idea, that can become a great idea with a little tweaking.

I got mine in the mail about three weeks ago and the impressive looking packaged got me curios and exited. ooh... Outdoor Fresh, can't wait to try.

The dryer bar has the appearance like that of a soap bar and is designed to stick to your dryer. I was instructed.. Not to place the bar on the back wall, door, or fins, the pieces that stick up from the dryer drum....okay..I'm still clueless about the last one, but I placed it on the inside, on one side of my dryer and that seems to be the correct place.

I washed a little of everything, and all of those items came out soft and a little fluffy, But one thing was missing" Sniff..sniff..sniff.. the scent! Where's the Outdoor Fresh scent!

It was a little faint to begin with, but I assumed that it would become stronger from the heat of the dryer.

It's one of the things I like about dryer sheets and fabric softeners...ahhh the fresh...

I'm constantly replacing broken, chipped and cracked dinnerware! it's annoying and sometimes can even cause injuries!

I've resorted to plastic plates for a while, then tried a second had store. Once in a while I find some really nice things there and went hoping to find some nice replacement dishes, for I was not about to spend another dime on a new set just to have them chipping and breaking all over the place, not for a while.

Little did I know that I would find the dishes, that would make me a fan of Corelle for life.

A large stack of thin white plates with blue hearts in the center set on a shelf along with other used dishes, beckoned me to take a closer look.

What are these? they are so thin, yet felt strong and sturdy in my hand. I wondered were they porcelain? or ceramic? ther'e to light to be stoneware, and certainly were not plastic.

While still lost in my contemplations, two sweet looking little ladies approached me, "You should buy those plates, they will be around a long...

I'm currently in South Carolina visiting family. It's balmy and beautiful, so I decided to take a long walk in the park and afterwards I was hot, sweaty and thirsty'! .. I had some water yes" ..

But had a strong craving for soda, so my sister stop buy a gas station to pacify me.

I had a deep fryer in the past and loved the freedom deep fryers afforded me. I could fry all kinds of foods while doing other chores around the house, even talk on the phone, confident, that I would not burn a thing and to my delight never did thanks to my deep fryer.

I do not remember what Model I had in the past, but with fond memories I set out to look for a deep fryer and my first stop was at Target.

Down the House-ware Isle there were several fryers to choose from and One in-particular caught my attention.

The Rival 3L Black Cool/Touch/Cool Zone Deep Fryer model CZF530-B.

It's compact design and the features hooked me right away.

I can operate it with-out burning myself, (That's always a good thing), the lid is designed to allow me to view my food while it's frying and has an indicator light ( Cool! ) It's dishwasher safe and all of the components are removable ( hurray!) there's more but these features were enough to convince me that this is something I want!

I'm Not a big fan of toothpaste because so many of them have a yucky, pasty, overly sweet sickening taste to them that make me either want to gag or throw up!

In a couple of weeks I was going to visit my sister in South Carolina so I needed to pack a travel bag that consisted of soaps, lotions, cosmetic's, and the Stuff I hate to use on my teeth!

I was accompanied by another sister of mine who suggeted that we try a brand I hadn't used in a while... Colgate.

Colgate Max fresh liquid tooth paste with Mini Breath Strips in the flavor

Clean mint.

The first thing I noticed was that I didn't gag! and the consistency of the toothpaste was that of a gel with a minty taste that was Not over powering or sugary .

The mini breath strips are tiny little beads that tingle in your mouth as you brush, leaving your teeth whitter and your gums and mouth feeling like it just had a powerful shower in peppermint aahh nice! .........

The Avon all over Kabuki face brush was smaller then I had imagined! I order out of the catalog through a representative it appeared to be so much bigger!

this is it! thi-this is It!... How ! am I supposed to use something this small to put my foundation on!

Okay.... they proved me wrong" the little kabuki brush comes with it's own little vinyl case, drop it in your purse or make up bag and it won't take up any more space then your pen or compact mirror..that I like.

Tap it to your powders and pat it on your face, the soft little brush is made of goat hair fells nice...and dose exactly what I first didn't think it was capable of doing..... putting foundation on my face. It's compact size make it a must have for quick touch ups!

I like the fact that Avon ideal mineral shade foundation is talc free, oil, free, and fragrant free. I'm a sensitive beauty diva and it's hard to find make-up that won't irritate my sensitive skin at some point, even those made with natural ingredients.

Be careful when you open the tiny 0.210z jar because it is a loose powder foundation and you will spill it every where!

I bought medium beige it cost 10.00 and applicator brush sold separately.

It feels really good on the face, light and velvety smooth and tones down excess shine. unfortunately.. it gave me an unnatural looking color of ash- gray!

I had hoped that choosing the medium beige would work for my skin tone but I wasn't holding my breath!. for I had problems in the past trying to match my skin tone with foundations. I have a olive complextion and this product gave me the appearance of an ill ghost!

Oh well' it's back to the drawing board'... but I'm not one to give up hope. Next time around...

Avon Bent Eye liner brush duo is a nice duo indeed.

I'm really diggin the Bent Eye liner brush, it's angled design is very easy to use, infact it's the easiest eye liner applicator that I have ever used! and the cool thing about it..is that you can use this brush with any eyeliner gel or shadow!

It comes with your choice of eye liner gel: Black pearl, Black/Brown pearl, Brown pearl and Navy pearl.... I chose the Black.

The thing I like about this gel is that it didn't irritate my eyes and eye lids. I have sensitive skin and some eye liners cause my eyes to either water or puff.

However..the color seemed to fade a little, after about three to four hours or so, I assume this may be that a gel is not as long lasting as a liquid liner, but I liked it none the less.

I was browsing through the bath isle at Walmarts, looking for a New bath brush, sponge or buffer thing-a-ma- jig, that I could use to scrub both my face and body.

I like to use exfoliating creams, soaps, sponges and bath brushes, to give me that pick me up I need when I'm bone tired and can't get up and on with my day or worn out from a long strenuous one..

So on my way down the bath and beauty isle I came across a group of hanging wash clothes placed along the sides of the isles. They were two sided with a smooth side and a rough side ...hummm.. this is different, I study it a minute.. and then my eyes fell on the price! a $1.97!! ......a two sided wash cloth for a $1.97!!!!! In my basket it went!

I made a bee-line to the check out with my two sided wash cloth called (The Clean Weave wash cloth by The Bath Source.

The same night I ran a hot bath, wet my Clean weave wash cloth, applied my liquid body wash, you can also use your favorite soap and within ...

I like nail polish, but I hate to polish my nails..it's time consuming and messy! so I skip this regimen altogether. My sister on the other hand is the total opposite, she loves nail polish and will spend what seems like and eternity putting it on, I envy her patients and her nails when she's done, they look so pretty.

Today my Nail junky SiS, bought Sally Hansen's New Color Quick Fast Dry Nail Pen in Hot pink one for her and one for me at Kmart for 7.99 .. ooh" .for me that's steep!

You should try this, it is sooo easy.. So I did..and it was! Quick and Easy! just like they said it would be!

The applicator is shaped something like a medium felt marker which makes holding and using it a breeze! You don't need to balance your hand on your knee, a book, table or any other prop, nor beg anyone else to do it for you.

Shake it at least five times and click the top just like you would a pen to dispense the polish. The tiny dense brush allows you to glide the polish across your nails......

Garnier Fructis Sleek and shine with micro oils b3 and b6, apricot and avocado.
how could one go wrong with those ingredients.

I wet my hair and got lots of lathering suds, and unlike some other shampoos that suds and just sit on the head cleaning the hair only..This shampoo cleaned both my hair and my oily scalp.
I suffer from oily scalp and dander and my scalp was cleaner then it had ever been in a long time. It lifted the oil and dander up and out of my scalp and hair..this I was pleased with,
however, that was not the reason I purchased this shampoo, I did so, because it claimed it would help dry, frizzy, unmanageable hair become more manageable!. My hair was even more!.. unmanageable when I was done with it. I needed a hedge trimmer, some dynamite, conditioner and a leave in conditioner just to comb my hair while it was still wet!..
Now you may have a more favorable experience with this product, because we all have different hair and hair types... But I suggest if you......

This winter I suffered a brutal unforgiving cold and I took everything possible associated with helping me fight it, Chicken soup, orange juice, cold medicines etc. and then I remembered an old stand by.. the original, Listerine, it's not just for killing germs that cause bad breath and gum disease it's an antiseptic that's infallible during the cold and flu season.

The four essential oil combo of eucalyptol, menthol, methyl salicylate and thymol Soothes my soar throat better than any cough drop or syrup, though it may be strong, it dosen't irritate an already irritated inflamed soar throat and mouth.

You may use it full strength or diluted. I gargled once in the morning and after I've eaten my main meals of the day and before bed. This helped remove pain and phlegm speeding up the healing process.

This fall, it will be the first thing on my list when I go to stock up on all the Cold/Flu must haves for my medicine cabinet, please make sure you do the same, you'll be glad you did!......

when I want a snack I snack on nuts.. No.. Not just because they are a healthy snack and rich in vitamin E.....I just happen to be Nuts! about nuts! and I like most, but almonds and pecans are two of my favorites. They are crunchy, tasty and enjoyable ...I mix them in popcorn and put them in salads... and thus this is where my salad dilemma began.!

The Salad dressings were interring with the taste of my nutty salads! some, were, to sweet, to vinegary and to heavy... weighing down on the lettuce, turning it into a sloppy mess! ... frustrated ..I decided to try and make my own.

With a recipe in hand, I had initially set out to purchase some extra virgin olive oil and some spices and happened to stop at a unfamiliar super market... where I found an unfamiliar product called.. La Tourangelle pronounced... La-too-ran-gel.

    I'll keep trying until I get it right!   and that's why I love Schultz potting soil mixes,
     they have it right... at least the right potting soil mixes for my plants.

      As a novice house plant hobbyist and black thumb, I have unintentionally killed more then half the house plants I purchased for my home.

Too much water?   maybe... Not enough light? possibly ... plants not healthy to begin with at time of purchase?... sometimes).... What about the potting soil?

One day while looking for plants to replace the dead ones, I begin to notice how light the soil was in the pots at the garden centers and Bingo!! ... it dawned on me, my potting soil was to heavy, and held far to much water!... But how could this be?... I was purchasing the commercial potting soil mixes at the centers, those claiming that my plants will get better drainage and root aeriation.. Yet... some of my plants were suffocating and drowning in a pasty muddy soup!

I like almay liquid eyeliner because it's hypoallergenic, waterproof and I can get that bold dramatic cat eyed or sexy 50's Glam look that I like.

The felt tip is a little tricky to use at first especially if you are new to liquid liner, but it dosen't take long to learn.. with a little pratice and a steady hand you can create a sexy rockin look all your own!

I often wear it alone.. with out any other additional makeup, that's what I like most about it I can still look like ...oooh la-la ...with so little.

I really enjoy the CD's by Pure White Noise, when I need to de-stress, relax, meditate or sleep they have the CD I need!

The two I currently have are ( Distant Thunderstorm ) I actually sleep to this one it keeps my mind from roaming when I'm trying to sleep and it's 73 minutes of thunder and rain that sooth's you.. Not.. scare you.. there are No loud crackle, cracks, bangs and booms! to scare you out of your mind in the middle of your sleep... No! music instruments either...just Nature!

(Babbling brook ) I sleep, read, write and meditate with this one, ..74 minutes of gentle babbling water over rocks.. help me tune out other busy thoughts that interfere with my progress.... No! music.. just the soothing sound of the brook!... However, if you like the mix
of Music and nature, they have that too.... You can listen before you buy! which is a big plus in my book!
There have several relaxing soothing Cd's to choose from for people of all ages from infants to adults. ......

Seminole horseradish is really good! they do not play around when it comes to horseradish!
I tried it on my turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese on Nine grain bread... Wow! I got bite and flavor! with no other interfering flavors competing with the taste.. just pure spicy sharp horseradish!

I tried three other brands before this one and none of them can compete! all three had ingredients that gave them a sickening sweet taste that interfered with the natural flavor of the radish sauce! yuck.. Yuck.... yuck!

If you are serious about your horseradish sauce! I suggest that you try this one first, if you want a good sandwich with a little kick!
