Even though everybody think that they have won the war by making Congress impose the new Credit Card Regulations.... every American need to remember the following:

1) First, the banks are here to make a profit;

2) These are your debts that you have borrowed from them;

3) Every American need to learn to start taking irresponsibility for themselves before pointing fingers at everyone else..

The New Credit Rules basically have the banks hands tied up wherein before they are able to review every situation on a case by case scenario, depending on your history with the bank and relationships with the bank.

Now with the inability to raise interest rates and charge overlimit fees, no banks will be able to work with preferred customers. The only option they have when you want to reject the increase in your APR is to close your account and make you pay off the balance and not use the card anymore.

There you have it, America, Congress just did us all a "favor".

My only daughter goes to George Washington University. It is a great school and I am so proud of her. The security is great, it is near the White House, there are school police and D.C. police presence all the time. The school offers 4-ride for students that study late in the library so you do not have to worry about your child walking back to the dorm alone at night time.

The Parents Services are great. If you have a concern and cannot get an answer, call or email the Parents Services, they respond right away. I have called the Paretns Srvices for a dorm related issue and they helped me resolved it. With my only child being away from home ina different state, there is no other school I would have her in. I am happy and blessed.

I love to shop at Kohl's. Very inexpensive and affordable for working women or students or any women that needs new clothing. Every few months I get in the mail a $10 coupon from Kohl's and I use them religiously. There are times when you can even find shirts for $9.99 and use the $10 coupon so in essence it costs you nothing to get a new shirt.

Check it out. You can save a lot of money that way. I have gotten 5 new shirts by simply using the $10 coupon that I receive from Kohl's and purchase shirts for under $10.

In this economy, there is nothing to be ashaned of by being frugal and I love it!

For those of you that loves hot wings, did you know that Publix Grocery Stores sells them? They are always located at the Deli section where they make all kinds of flavored wings. The best deal is to get 20 hot wings for $7.49. These wings are delicious.

The funny thing about buying them in the 20s is because for 10 wings, the price tag is around $6.99. But Publix also offer s promotional price of buying them in 20s and the price is always at $7.49.

These wings are delicious. They are not hot spicy and always juicy. Even if you do not finish all of them at one time, you can microwave them again and they still taste the same. I tried eating them cold once and they still taste delicious!

If you are looking for a great clean all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet, New China Buffet is the place to be.

Children under 2 years old eat for free, 9 year and older for 1/2 price. If you go before dinner time, and trust me, menu is not that different, it is only $6.25 per person. Seniors also get an additional 10% off.

The place is clean, the service is wonderful and the food is great. My husband and I eat there once a week and with the two of us with no discount, the total price is always at $16.92 with tax.

We never get tired of eating there. There is over 200 different selections, with the best selection of sushi bar I have ever seen.

Try it once and you will not regret it!

If you are like me and is always worried about the economy and how it affects your daily life, Fox Business News is a great venue to just get current events and opinions of various people.

Fox Business news offers a fair and balanced view points from every level of the community. I watch it simply because it gives me more information than watching the prime time news network.

The anchors are really smart and very straight to the point. You can also get first hand information every day even on the weekends.

I watch this channel every day just to keep myself updated on current business news and happenings.

If you are looking for a place that offers generous portions, this is the place to be. The owners of Marietta Diner bought this place a couple of yeatrs ago and totally changed the menu and the service.

The food tastes good, the desserts are just out of this world. The place is clean with spacious parking.

If you are a coupon lover, they always have 20% off entire check coupons in the mail or in the valuepak coupons. You can use the coupons during luch when prices are cheaper too.

Service is always wonderful. There is always a manager on the shift that will come to your table to ask you if there is anything they can help you with.

I always end up with a take home doggie bag because of the generous portions.

ING Direct has NO FEES when you bank with them. They are the best and most secured internet banking that I have experienced. Every time I have a problem and need to call the Customer Service number, there is never a wait on the phone.

The only downside is you have to wait a few days for the money to be transferred if it is not within ING Direct. But for the advantage of having no fees at all, it is worth the wait if you plan ahead of time.

Savings rates are also higher than most banks. Worth checking it out!

If you are looking for a small friendly bank where "everybody knows your name", Bank of Woodstock is the bank for you. I have been banking with them for almost 8 years. The monthly fee for my checking account is $2.00. I have not incurred any other fees in all the years I have banked with them. They actually call you when there is a problem and give you time to rectify any problems that you have.

All the people that work in the bank are locals. The bank does not have sophiscated websites -- and yes, you can bank online. But the website is simple and easy to navigate.

If you are looking to put your money in a bank away from all other big corporate chains, Bank of Woodstock is just the right bank for you. ONE Bank, no branch and local.

They also have very friendly family oriented management style. Wait staff is always friendly and parking is never a problem.
