Tlaws32837 says "Black & Decker Electric Sander is decent, but not amazing." about Black & Decker Electric Sander

I bought the Black & Decker electric sander when I was remodeling my condo. There was all sorts of damage to the walls that needed to be repaired and then sanded down as well as some other projects that I believed my require sanding. I had always just sanded by hand in the past, but since I saw that there was going to be so much sanding in this remodel I thought it would be a good idea to invest in an electric sander. I bought the Black & Decker electric sander because it seemed like a good price. When I started using it I found that it would sand for about a minute or so, but then the sanding paper would start to slide off of the track on the sander. There did not seem to be anything wrong with the device and it did not even happen every time. It sanded things down just fine and I did end up using it for the entire job. It was just a bit annoying that I had to keep stopping the machine to fix the paper.
...

Tlaws32837 says "The Sansa 2GB mp3 player is fantastic." about SanDisk - Sansa 2GB mp3 player

The SanDisk Sansa 2GB mp3 player is everything that I want in a music player. I have never owned an mp3 player before this one. I thought about buying an ipod, but they are rather expensive. So I decided to go with another brand. I read up on many other brands of mp3 players so I knew that I was getting the most bang for my buck. I ended up settling on a SanDisk Sansa 2GB mp3 player. I liked all of the features it came with. It comes in a wide variety of colors, so there is one for everyone. I chose the hot pink. It has 2GB of memory, which is enough to hold about 750 songs. That is more songs than I could even come up with yet. It also has an FM radio so that if for some reason you do fill all of the memory, you can still listen to he radio to hear different songs. One feature that it has that was a surprise to me is that it can even record songs of of the radio onto your mp3 player. I think it as an excellent choice. Especially for the $35 price tag.
...

Tlaws32837 says "Emerson 36" LCD TV is surprisingly good." about Emerson - 36" LCD TV

About three years ago my husband and I bought a sony plasma TV. It was a top of the line flat screen HD TV. We had never owned such a nice television before and thought that this one would be a long term investment. We were very disappointed when after only one year of use this very expensive TV lost all of the red in its screen. We called a few television repair places and they all said that plasma TVs were not repairable. So we had to go buy a new TV. We chose to get an LCD television this time.
We also did not want to spend as much money as we did on the last TV so we ended up purchasing a 36 inch Emerson LCD HD TV. I was a little nervous that we were buying a brand that was not all that well known, but this television has been great. We have owned this TV for two years now and I can't believe how much I love it. It has given us no issues and the picture is amazing. I would say that the picture on this TV is even more impressive than the sony that we had and it...
...

Tlaws32837 says "The acer aspire 3680 is not a very good laptop." about Acer Aspire 3680

I bought the Acer Aspire 3680 a couple of years ago. I wanted a laptop at the time and did not want to spend a lot of money to spend, so I bought this one for a pretty cheap price. It did not come with anything fancy. It is just your basic laptop without a lot of memory or cool features. It does not come in any different colors or patterns, but I was not looking for any of those things. I just wanted a basic computer that would perform basic jobs. It did work fine for a few months, but that was about it. After the first few months the Acer laptop moved so slowly it was practically useless. I think that perhaps I should have saved up and spent a little bit more money to get a laptop that was a little less basic. This was a lesson well learned and I hope that others can learn from my mistake and buy something that is worth their money. I know I will in the future. You really do get what you pay for.
...

Tlaws32837 says "Head and Shoulders Pyrithione Zinc is very strong shampoo." about Head & Shoulders Dandruff ScalpCure Pyrithione Zinc AntiDandruff Shampoo

My husband and I have always had some issues with dandruff and itchy scalps. So when Head and Shoulders came out with their new and improved Anti Dandruff Pyrithione Zinc formula shampoo, we had to try it out and see how it worked. Well, we did try it out and it worked very well. We did also find a bit of a problem with the shampoo. It was very strong. I guess there is quite a bit of the anti dandruff medication in it and if you use it too much it will actually irritate your scalp. We found that it is best if you only use this shampoo every other day rather than every day. I recommend just using a regular non-medicated shampoo on the alternating days. Once we started using this method, we found this Head and Shoulders shampoo to be very effective and not irritating at the same time. I would recommend this shampoo to people with scalp issues, but I would also caution you not to use it too much.
...

Tlaws32837 says "The MiPump breast pump is very easy to use." about The First Years miPump Double Deluxe Electric Breast Pump

When I got pregnant with my first child I decided to breast feed him. So I went out to buy a breast pump and came across the First Years electric MiPump. I bought it because it was the least expensive electric breast pump in the store at the time. However, I was quite glad that I bought it once I started using it. I found that it was very easy to use and worked very well. It does not take long to express the milk. I actually prefer using it to breast feeding, so I try to do so as much as possible. The First Years bottles fit the pump very well and my son likes them and seems to have little problem transitioning from breast to bottle and vice versa. I am glad now that I have the MiPump that I did not spend more money on another more expensive model. Another very nice feature about this pump that some of the others did not have is that it came with a cute bag to carry it in, making it easy to take anywhere with you.
...

I have a new baby and have purchased a few different toys and thins to keep him occupied and entertain him. One of my favorite of all these purchases is the Playskool Infant Swing. It has an electronic control to keep the swing going all on its own, which means you can put him in it, turn it on, and relax. It is very colorful which is great to stimulate baby's senses. It also has some small toys that hang from the top that he can play with while he swings. It plays music as well, which may not be one of my favorite features, but he loves it. The best thing about this swing is that it rocks gently and smoothly until baby falls asleep. This makes this baby toy a priceless investment. I cannot stress enough how valuable it is to have something that can provide peace and quiet almost any time that you need it. I think every parent should own a Playskool Infant Swing. I'm glad I do.
...

I am a new mother and knew nothing about bottles before now. I had chosen to breast feed and had purchased th First Years breast pump. I needed to have bottles that were compatable with my pump so I bought the First Years Soothie Bottle Starter Kit. The kit was very nice because of all the different items it came with. It came with three different sized bottles to use as baby grows; all of which fit perfectly in my pump. The bottles have silicone nipples that have a slow flow so that a newborn does not get too much milk all at once. The kit also came with lids for easy milk storage. It came with a pacifier that has the same shape as the bottle nipples, which baby loves. The kit also came with a bottle brush that fits the Soothie bottles very well, making cleaning the bottles a breeze. I also bought many of the other First Years feeding products and I couldn't be happier with them.
...

I have a Graco high chair and I think it was a great choice. It was not the cheapest high chair that I could have gotten, but with all of the great features it comes with it was definately worth the money. The high chair comes with a removable padding in the seat that is washable, which is very important. It also has locking wheels that make it easy to move around from room to room and also easy to keep in place so that baby doesn't move around during meal time. It has a sturdy tray on the front that is also detachable, so that baby can sit at the table with the family when they're ready. The Graco high chair also comes with adjustable straps to keep baby in the chair while they are eating instead of wiggling their way out which could be dangerous. It seems to be a very safe, comfortable, and practical chair that I am very pleased with. I am happy that I bought this chair and I think I will get a lot of use out of it in the future.
...

I have a Graco travel system. It is a car seat that can be rear or forward facing and a stroller that the car seat attaches to. The car seat comes with a base that you can strap into your car and leave in the car at all times. The car seat just snaps into the base and is held firmly in place while you drive. You can also purchase additional bases for the car seat so that Grandma and Grandpa can have one in their car too. I highly recommend this. It makes passing baby around very quick and easy. The car seat also snaps out of the car base easily and into the stroller. So you can carry baby from place to place without disturbing them which is especially nice if they're sleeping. The Graco travel system comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns, so anyone can pick one that they will love and will be perfect for their little one. They also come with other features such as time and temperature readings on the handle bar. These are not necessary, but nice features...
...

The Cuisinart blender is the first blender that I have ever owned. I bought this blender when I first got married four years ago because of it's nice features. It was a bit pricier than most other blenders, but I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" so I did not mind the price. It had a lot of power and several different settings. I thought it would be a good investment and expected it to last me a long time. I was a bit disappointed at how quickly the blender broke in a way that was not repairable. I love smoothies and this blender claimed to have the power to handle ice and a lot of heavy duty use. So I was surprised when I discovered it only lasted a couple of years before it stopped working. I may have expected such a life span from an average priced blender, but not this one. I spent extra money with the intent that this appliance would last me a long time and that did not work out.
...

I own two large dogs and a rabbit and I am always trying to keep my house smelling nice and trying to keep the air in my home clean and free of allergens. I bought the Honeywell 50250 Air Purifier about three years ago to help me in these efforts. I liked the fact that it claimed to purify such a large space and that it claimed to suck up pet hair and allergens from the air. I found that it performed well in both of these areas. It also comes with a lifetime warranty on the hepa filter inside. The filter, however, does get clogged up and needs to be cleaned more often than the device claims. The filter is easy to remove and only has to be vacuumed in order to clean it. As long as you clean the filter often, this air purifier will do a very good job at keeping you home clean. Another nice feature about the Honeywell 50250 is that it is round and, therefore, sucks in air from all angles at once. I would recommend this product.
...

I purchased the Total Gym 500 online. It was delivered to my home promptly, which I was very pleased with. It did require assembly, however. The assembly instructions were rather difficult to follow. It was certainly not the easiest piece of equipment that I have ever put together. Once I finally did finish assembling it ( which took a few hours ) I started using it immediately. I found it to be very easy to use. It has several different levels at which you can set the machine in order to increase or decrease the resistance level. It was pretty easy to adjust the machine from setting to setting. The Total Gym 500 uses your own body weight for resistance so there are no weights to mess with, which is also nice. It may not be the best machine to build muscle mass for a man, but if you are looking to stengthen and tone your body this machine produces great results when used regularly.
...

I have owned a few vacuum cleaners before I bought a Dyson. I have two dogs that shed a lot and had never found a vacuum that could handle cleaning up all of their hair without clogging or breaking. The Dyson vacuums are much more expensive that most other vacuums, but made claims about never loosing suction and came with a warranty so I decided to try one out. I bought the Dyson DC 07 and I am so glad that I did. I found that the claims made by the company about never loosing suction to be absolutely true. It does such a great job at cleaning my house ( even all the dog hair ) and doesn't leave anything behind. It also has a washable hepa filter which I love. It never has to be replaced. You just wash it every six months. I have now owned this vacuum for three years and it still performs as well as it did when I first bought it. I am so pleased with my Dyson and will certainly buy another one, assuming I ever need a new one.
...

Tlaws32837 says "State Farm Insurance offers excellent coverage." about State Farm

State Farm Insurance company is a great company to rely on for your insurance needs. My husband and I have had State Farm Insurance for car, motorcycle, boat, renter's, jewlery, and emergency medical insurance for several years now. While you may hope that you never have to use your insurance, unfortunately unforseen things happen. And when they do you want to have a company like State Farm behind you. Over the years we have had cars break down and get towed, which State Farm always paid for. We have had a couple of car accidents, which they took care of. We have visited the emergency room, which they paid for. I have even lost my engagement ring an State Farm paid for a new one. Every claim that we have made has never raised our insurance rates. We have always been very pleased with how hassle free every claim has been and how much money they have paid out for us. There may be many insurance companies out there with cheaper rates, but you get what you pay for. When...
...

Tlaws32837 says "Valencia Community College was a great school to attend." about Valencia Community College

I chose to attend Valencia Community College in Florida when I graduated from high school because I had a full ride scholarship to that school. Once I enrolled and began attending classes, I was so glad that I chose to go there. First of all, the school itself was very clean and well maintained. I felt like I was going to a very nice place of education simply by the appearance. The classes were very small; approximately 25 to 35 students per class. This was fantastic. You were able to ask questions and get one on one attention rather than being a face in a sea of hundreds of students. I was also very pleased with the quality of the professors that Valencia Community College employed. I thought that every professor that I had was very knowledgeable and cared about the future of their students. I did not have to pay for my college, but I know how much less expensive that school was than any University that I could have attended and would recommend it to anyone, especially...
...

Tlaws32837 says "The Garmin Nuvi 200 has cool features, but may get you lost." about Garmin - Nuvi 200

I first purchased the Garmin Nuvi 200 when my husband and I were going on an out of state road trip. We did not know the area in which we were traveling to at all and thought that it would be a great way to find our way around the area. The GPS device got us to our destination without any trouble. When we arrived there, I thought all of the features that it offered would be very helpful. It has the ability to locate points of interest nearby your location and give you direction on how t get there. This was great because we did not have anyone to show us around the area. But when we chose a restaurant to go to for dinner on our first night there, the GPS took us to a construction site. This was when I first realized that these devices have their flaws. It did find many other locations successfully, but not all of them. I thought the Garmin Nuvi 200 was a neat device, but I still wouldn't leave the house without a map; just in case.
...

Tlaws32837 says "Schick Intuition Plus lathering bar dissolves too soon." about Schick Intuition Plus Razor

I am a woman who shaves in the shower. It saves time which is very important to me. When I discovered the Schick Intuition Plus razor, I was excited to try it because it comes with a built in lathering bar so that you don't have to use shaving cream or gel. To me this meant saving even more time and money so I bought it. However, I realized after only one use that it was not all it was cracked up to be. The lathering bar began dissolving immediately. Most razors last me about two to three weeks before I have to replace them, but this razor only lasted through three shaves before the lathering bar was completely gone. Once the lathering bar is gone you either have to replace the razor head or use shaving cream. I expected much more from such an expensive product and was quite disappointed that it did not perform up to my expectations. I would not recommend this razor to anyone. I think it was a waste of money.
...

Tlaws32837 says "Revlon flat iron worked well, but burnt out very quickly." about Revlon Ceramic Flat Iron

I bought the Revlon ceramic flat iron because I have always had wavy, frizzy hair and wanted smooth, straight, silky hair. When I first bought it I was pleased with the results that I got. My hair was straight and would stay that way all day. It also got rid of the frizz and made my hair very soft and smooth. I used the flat iron two to three times per week for about three months before it stopped working. I took it apart and realized that after only three months of use that the heating element had burnt out, making the flat iron useless. I was quite surprised and disappointed by this. I went to the store and bought another type of flat iron to replace it. I have now had that flat iron for about two years and use it just as frequently as the Revlon flat iron and it still works just as well as the day that I bought it. I thought the Revlon flat iron worked well in the beginning, but I wouldn't buy one again because of how quickly it broke.
...
