      <description>&lt;p&gt;When I opened the box, I could already tell that this was a very well made product. It was solid, metal, felt rugged.&#160; I'm not the manual type, so I imediately hooked it up.&#160; I was in the midst of plugging in my DVD player into the component video when I noticed the VGA port.&#160; Thats right! My laptop computer is pretty close to my theater set&#160; up, so I connected it to to the VGA input on the scaler. Feeling very pleased, I hooked up everything else to the scaler.&#160; Once I had my PS3, my cable box, my Wii, my DVD player, and my laptop all hooked up to the scaler, I connected it to my TV via the HDMI out, and to my Receiver using the ever so convenient Digital Coax output.&#160; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The moment of truth, I turned every thing on.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;BINGO! I didn't even have to do any adjustments.&#160; It worked beutifully switching between my differnet components, and MY Wii has never looked better than in full 1080p!&#160; I put in an old tape into my VCR (&lt;em&gt;close encounters of the third kind&lt;/em&gt;) thinking this would be a true...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
