TasteTester says "Its all gone- so it must be good!" about Stonyfield Farms Organic YoBaby Yogurt

SO when my daughter graduated form formula only to solid foods, I really struggled withthe concept since the formula had the DHA & ARA lipids that are so essential for briad and eye developement. Call me crazy, but I am a staunch supporter of brain and eye development and the absence of those lipids in her diet concerned me. I then saw the Stonyfied Farms Yogurt at the grocers and was happy to see that it had those 2 lipids that were going to be missing from her diet. I bought a six pack of the yogurt cups and was thrilled to realize that I have a healthy yogurt eater on my hands! NOw I'm not so reluctant to take her off of the formula and place her on milk (which will cut the grocery bill considerably!) becuase I know that she's getting those two nutrients that i consider to be important. To be honest, I don't really care much either way that its a labeled organic food. Sure, I'm pleased that I can get my child to eat a very healthy pruduct, but until there are stricter guidelines...
...

TasteTester says "ITS REALLY REALLY GOOD" about Maybelline New York XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara

I like this stuff- its great for girls like me with pathetic eyelashes. For years I used department store mascaras and was outdone by the big thick lashes that my husband has. I mean, seriously, boys should not have better eyelashes than girls! When our finances changed and I decided that I didn't need to spend $15-20 on mascara, I tried this. Love it! And let me tell you- the waterproof version will not let you down. For days at a time! Get yourself a good mascara remover when you get this stuff! NOw, on the downside, since its a double ended tube, you can tend to end up with uneven amounts, which kind of stinks. I seems that I always end up with the white colored extended and thickener while the actual mascara product has gone empty or run dry. I guess that the price you pay for uber big eyelashes!

I got my product at Wal mart- I'm pretty sure of it. And I paid no more than $7.00 for it, so I think its a great value for the money!
...

TasteTester says "I am a fan of Bumbo" about Bumbo Baby Seat

BUmbo. BUmbo. Bumbo. Best word in the world. I love my Bumbo. My daughter loves her Bumbo. She practiacally lived in it for about 4 months. I took it everywhere. To Grandma's. THe office. HEck,I even took it to church and she sat in the pew with us. Happy as a clam! I fed my daughter in the Bumbo- cut her nails in it, read stories to her, played with her, yo naem it! I did it. And as far as cleaning it- its a total breeze! Whatever space age foamy material theyuse is very easy to wipe down and took well to a number of cleaning products, from simple soapy water to the necessary anit-bacterial solutions. And now that's she's walking, she still sits in the Bumbo to watch her television shows and we use it as a booster seat at the kitchen table ( supervised, of course!). With the need for the Bumbo back in demand for a little addition by the end of the year, I think I'm going to have to buy a second one becuase I don't think my daughter will give hers up! I recommend...
...

TasteTester says "Members Mark diapers work as well as the rest of them. " about Member's Mark Diapers

So when I first had my daughter, I was flooded with gifts of diapers. All of them brand name. And for a very long time, I had great luck with the brand name diapers. I was under the impression that there was a true difference with brands of diapers and decdied to stay a brand name diaper user. Then it happened- the blow out. And then another. THen another. At that point, the economy started to take a dive and we had to make some decisions. That's when I bit the bullet and picked up the Members Mark box at Sam's. Guess what? They work just the same as the brand names. A nice, cloth like feel, plenty of those super absorbent crystals in the padding, strong velcro tabs. ANd they're not bulky at all. THeir liquid absorbency is mind blowing. That diaper weighs less than an ounce when i take it out of the package- but when its ready to be changed, it weighs about ten pounds! Blowouts are going to happen. No matter what fancy pants brand you use. Its just that...
...

TasteTester says "I absolutely adore my Bissell Steam Mop." about Bissell Steam Mop

So in a very unusual move for me, I saw this product on a home shopping channel (serioulsy, i was just channel surfing.) ON a whim, I decided to get it. Quite frankly the best purchase I have ever made. WIth a 1.5 year old and another on the way- i am no stranger to messes, but have become a stranger to having spare time on my hands! With the health benefits of germ killing steam and the fact that it takes only water and not harsh chemicals, that is very important to me with little ones near the floor! And time wise- its wonderful! I can get my good-sized kitchen floor done in 2.5 minutes. No lie. And its dry in no time! Now I don't have true hardwood floors in my home, but I do have everything else, ceramic, laminate and linoleum. Its great on these surfaces, and I see that I can buy a carpet refreshing attachment as an accessory- something I will be purchasing very soon. And I also see where you can buy the Bissell approved aromatherapy additive so that you get a nice...
...

TasteTester says "My Serta Pillow Top Firm is good- but could use some de-bouncing" about Serta Pillow Top Firm Mattress

We just got our Serta Pillow Top Firm Matress within the last couple of weeks- and we like it. If I had one complaint- and I don't even know if I'd call it that- is that its more bouncy than our previous mattress. Meaning, when my husband thrashs about, I feel it more now than I did on the old mattress. ON the plus side- its a very comfortable mattress, especially since I'm pregnant and need all the help in the comfort department that I can get! And since we've upgraded to a larger size mattress, we're both a lot happier with our added personal space! The price that we purchased it was a steal - I can't say if Serta can take credit for that or the store where we purchased it- perhaps it was a combination of both. The craftsmanship seems to be good- no ragged stiching, no snags or rips in the cover fabric. The box spring looks very sturdy and from what I can see of the wood frame construction, it looks ilke they used a good quality wood and not ragged, knotty misshapen pieces. ...
...

TasteTester says "the safety first folding bathtub was a great value for the money" about Safety 1st Space Saver Fold Up Bath Tub

As a first time MOm- i had no idea what kind of baby tub to get! THe options are so overwhelming. So I thought " what do you do actually NEED in a baby tub?" My requirments were "hold water, and comfortably accomodate my child." So I passed up the fancy rubs with water spouts and mesh liners and got th ebaic blue plastic folding tub from Safety First. It was great. It held water. It accomodated my child. And when bathtime was over, I folded it up and put it in the closet so we could use our tub shower.

What I'm trying to say to curious moms out there- you really don't need all the fancy baby stuff. It will put you in the poor house faster than you can go through a case of diapers. There is no need whatsoever to get anything but a basic tub for your baby- she'll be out of it in 6 months, so save your money for something more fun!
...
