http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/TLClynn Fri, 08 Feb 2008 06:57:22 GMT Reviews by TLClynn http://www.viewpoints.com/Carnival-Cruise-Lines-Elation--112725-review-44853 I went on a Carnival Cruise Line cruise when I turned 30.  I traveled with my sister, best friend and mom.  We had a guaranteed upgrade cabin and since there were 4 of us to one room we got upgraded to a Suite!!!  It was awesome and did not cost us any extra.  If you go on a cruise make sure you get the guaranteed upgrade option.  Some people say the food isn't very good on Carnival.  I believe the food was very very good.  It was the first time I had lobster bisque, caviar and escargot just to name a few - Awesome.  The only bummer was that I went in September and that is hurricane season.  We shared the ocean with hurricane Georges so that made the sea a bit rough, grey and drizzly for one day of the cruise.  We were also suppose to go to Mexico but since Georges was battering Mexico we went to the Bahamas and the weather was great, as was Key West.  Georges also decided to hit Miami at the same time that we were to dock.  We were taken instead to cape canaveral and bused......
