After using an electric shaver for years and not getting a brilliant shave, I started checking out disposable razers. The ones that come up trumps are CVS pharmacy's own brand.

You get 3 in a packet for just $1. Now you can't beat the price. The handles are a medium pink color, the rest white, apart from a pale pink lubricating strip. They have a plastic safety cap over the twin blades.

They work well with with the gel I am using. They take the lather off easily and give me a smooth shave. I have never nicked myself with these.

I did with another cheap brand, and really did a number, on my right leg. I still have the scar from 6 months ago.

These razors last for several shaves, which makes them a great buy. When I went to England I only took one with me and it lasted the 3 weeks I was there. I threw it away before returning home.

Looking for a great product, that really works, and doesn't break the bank. Then get a smooth shave with CVS Twin Blade Pivot Plus Disposable...

We received a 2.5 ounce (7.1g) size Gillette Fusion Hydragel, in a bag of goodies, when we were staying at a hotel. Even though it is a product for a man, I tried it and liked it so much, that I kept it for myself.

It comes in an orange/gold shiny looking can with a press down top.

I shave my legs every 2 to 3 days and this is such a handy size to use.

All I do is wet the areas I want to shave and then spray some of the light blue gel onto the area. I then spread it over the area, and get a great lather.

I use either a disposable razor or one of the ones that you buy new cartridges for. The shaver takes the lather and the hairs away, and just glides over my legs, under my arms, or my bikini area. It is really gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft and silky.

This product is for sensitive skin and it is so true. It contains Aloe and cocoa butter which are excellent for your skin.

Even though I am a woman, I have no problems going into a store and buying it for myself. This is...

Having got back from vacation today, I needed something quick for dinner, tonight. I normally purchase Wal-Mart's own make Lasagna, and it is really good. They didn't have it last time, so I picked up the On-Cor Lasagna with meat sauce, in the family size.

The box looks really enticing, with lots of cheese on the top, and plenty of meat coming out of the layers of pasta.

I put the 28 ounce (1 lb. 12 ounce) size lasagna in the microwave, after taking it out of the box. I had it on high for 10 minutes, as per the directions. I then took the film off and cooked it for a further 7 minutes. I let it stand for 2 minutes.

The top looked dry, and when I cut into the lasagna, only a small amount of sauce came out of the side. I put it on our plates and it looked sad.

The worst thing was when I went to eat it. I had to really chew the lasagna. It tasted bland and just lacked about everything.

We ate it because we were hungry, and I was too tired to actually cook for once. This is...

Walgreens Salon Formula Polish Remover is a perfect size for traveling. I bought the 2 ounce bottle, that retails for 99 cents, at a bargain price of 39 cents.

It is nothing fancy. Just a plastic bottle with a red screw top. It is bigger at the bottom and narrows at the top.

Upon unscrewing the cap there is a plastic seal to break. Putting the bottle to my nose the nail polish remover doesn't have a really bad smell to it, like some do.

I put black nail polish on my nails for Halloween, and wanted to remove it the next day. I got a couple of cotton balls, and put the Salon Formula Polish Remover on them, and easily took of the polish, with no trace left on my nails.

For a very inexpensive product this did great.

I hardly ever put polish on my nails, so this little bottle will last a long time.

Please not that this product is highly flammable, as with all polish removers, and treat it as such. Also keep out of the reach of children.

Estee Lauder's, Estee has been around since I can remember, I was given this product for my 21st birthday, which is over 40 years ago, and to this day, this is the perfume I love.

It comes in a 1.85 fl. oz. spray bottle, and is clear at the bottom, and has a silver colored spray top. The cap is also silver.

The perfume is a light floral fragrance, and not all at overpowering. I spray once on my neck, and then put both the insides of my wrists up to my neck. This is the perfect amount to last me all day, and all evening. There is nothing worse than being next to someone who has sprayed perfume several times.

Over the years I can't tell you how many people have stopped me to ask what perfume I wear, or to say how lovely it is. Even strangers.

I purchase my Estee Super Cologne Spray for around $30 - $32, and only when Dillard's or Macy's have a promotion, where I get several sample products for free.

Sometimes they are out of the cologne and I end up getting the perfume, which...

Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions got me excited because my right foot was giving me a lot of pain.

It states on the packaging the "immediate massaging gel comfort for the ball of your foot. Because feel the burn wasn't meant to describe the ball of your foot."

I immediately tried them in my slippers. I placed them as directed. When I slid my foot in, and the gel cushion scrunched up. I had to hold it down to get my foot in.

Next I put it in my shoes, and again it moved instead of staying in place.

When I finally had the gel cushion in the correct place, it did help to stop the burn on the ball of my foot, and also helped the pain in my toes.

I have been using these now for around a month, and still get frustrated when they don't stay in place, and roll up, when I put my foot in my shoe.

As Dr. Scholl's has a guarantee that if you are not completely satisfied with the product to mail back the receipt and the UPC code, I think I just might do this. After all I purchased...

Dr.Scholl's For Her Corn Cushions come in a pretty pink box. There are 6 corn cushions in the box. Remove the box from the outer packaging, and then lift at the front of the box to open.

The cushions are on backing paper, and come three to a sheet.

After washing your foot, lift up one of the paper tabs on the sheet, and the corn cushion will come off too. Apply it over the corn, press it down, and then just lift off the paper. The corn cushion is the same color as flesh so it hardly notices on your toes.

The nice thing is that it is completely smooth so you don't have a problem when wearing panty hose or knee highs. It stays in place and is waterproof.

It stays on my toe and won't move. It doesn't tell you how long to wear it, so I normally take it off after 3 days and apply a new one. The easiest way is for me to go swimming and then it pretty much rolls off of my toe, with a little effort on my part. I still swim the other days and don't touch it, and it stays put.

When purchasing our new Toshiba laptop, it came with Windows 7. We bought this the day it came out.

First of all Windows 7 does not accept outlook express, so we had to use their email, and then it took a day, to find out how to put Len's and my 'cable' email addresses in.

Next the Norton anti virus, that was in the computer, is only for a trial period. We had only just purchased a new Norton a couple of months ago, as ours was running out on our three computers. We found out that the one we purchased is not compatibly with Windows 7.

The final straw that made us take the laptop back was, that we couldn't get either of our two printers to work with it. They are both H.P. all-in-one printers, so hubby phoned Toshiba and they said to contact H.P. He phoned H.P. and the guy was really helpful and said that he could get it working for us. Hubby gave him all the details, and then he said that he would have to take $139 from a credit card, before he could go ahead.

Cover Girl Shadow Squease was in our local Dollar Tree store so I couln't resist buying it. The color I chose was number 435, Cocoa.

It comes in a tube just like the squeeze lip balms that are all the rage lately. The amount of shadow is 8 ml or .29 fluid ounces.

The color on the box looked a dark beige/light brown with a matt finish, which is a color I like.

I unscrewed the cap and there was the applicator. It was white and had an angled soft tip to it. On the angle was a hole so that the liquid eyeshadow could come out. I touched the applicator and it felt like a sponge but firmer.

I took my glasses off and put the tube up to my closed right eye. I then carefully squeezed the tube so that a small amount of the eyeshadow came out. I then moved the tube/applicator across the eyelid. This covered the bottom half of the eyelid so I did another sweep just above this one. It wasn't perfect but without glasses I thought it was okay.

Now I have Clairol Nice 'N Easy in my life, I won't be needing a hairdresser.

I tried Marc Anthony Root Touch-Up and it really didn't color my hair. I am not sure if I didn't leave it on long enough or it was the product. So I tried Nice 'N Easy shade #87 to begin with. This last time I used #102 Natural light ash.

Looking at the box it states that it is 'color-blend technology that expert blend of 3 tones for natural color with highlights. Brown to blonde in just one step'. It is also a permanent color. At the side of the box it has 3 current hair colors, and then the results you will get using it.

In the box are the gloves to protect your hands, the color blend activator, the color blend formula, and the color seal conditioning gloss.

To get started you need to put the gloves on, pull off the top seal on the color-blend activator. then unscrew the applicator bottle cap. Open the color-blend formula bottle and pour all the contents into the applicator bottle. Put the applicator...

Today I am reviewing Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash. I was lucky enough to get 4 sample bottles of it from the dermatologist. The sample bottles are 1 fluid ounce, so I actually got 4 fluid ounces of product. If I had purchased a bottle to begin with I would have paid around $5, at a discount store, and only received 2 fluid ounces more.

It states that you can use this cleansing wash twice a day, but I use a gentle soap and water in the morning and use the gentle cleansing wash at night. All I do is wet my hands, add a little of the clear gel into them, rub them together, and apply the foam to my face. I leave it on for a short period of time and then wash my face with warm water. That is it.

My face feels really clean and soft.

What Johnson & Johnson say about their product:

Directions: Moisten skin, work cleanser into a lather, apply and gently massage. Rinse throughly."

Neutrogena Moisture Sheer Tint is a product I found in my closet. I have probably 200 different makeup, skincare, hair products, and toiletries in a box. I remember using this product and loving it.

The bottle is white with a lilac (pale mauve) top. It states that it is non-comedogenic and is a facial moisturizer with a sheer tint.

Upon opening the bottle, be careful with this makeup, as it is a runny liquid. It would be so easy to pour too much out, and have it go on your clothes, or the floor.

The color of the tint is very slightly darker than my skin color. It is so lightweight that it rubs in with ease. Many of the other liquid makeups are thick and you can see your pores through them. With Neutrogena Moisture Sheer this doesn't happen. You just have an even color skin.

I am so glad that I found this product again, and plan on using it the evenings I go dancing.

I was unable to find Neutrogena Moisture Sheer Tint, on their website, so cannot give you a price. I just...

I am really pleased with the collection of John Frieda Root Awakening products. The shampoo and the conditioner work great for me.

I use the shampoo and sometimes the condition too, but other times I will omit the conditioner, and use the detangling spray. My hair would be too baby soft using all 3 products.

Once my hair is washed, sometimes it can still have some knotting from the back-combing or teasing, that I give my hair. Just by pushing down on the spray nozzle of the bottle of 'health boosting detangling spray', 4 or 5 times, on different parts of my head. I can then comb through my hair without losing a hair, or finding a knot.

The spray comes out fast and covers quite an area. It has the same eucalyptus fragrance as the other 2 products in the range.

After using the John Frieda Root Awakening Detangling Spray, my hair is ready to have gel in it, be blow-dried, curled with the curling iron, teased again, and styled.

I am happy to pay a little more for a product that works...

I purchased all three of the John Frieda Root Awakening hair products. I love the shampoo, and using it with the conditioner, gives me great hair.

The root awakening conditioner is for normal hair and is 'health infusing', well that's what is says on the bottle.

After washing my hair with the Root Awakening shampoo, I then squeeze an inch or so ribbon of the conditioner into my hands and apply it to my hair. I work it in from the roots to the tips of my hair.

This is a fairly thick product, with a really refreshing eucalyptus smell to it. I leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse well.

My hair is so manageable that I don't have to use the Root Awakening Detangling Spray with it.

I continue to use my gel, dry my hair, use the curling iron, tease it, and then comb it into a French pleat.

John Frieda have done a great job with this line, and especially the conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling fresh, looking brighter, more volume than normal, and easier to handle. I find that...

Bodycology Brown Sugar Vanilla is a slightly overpowering fragrance. It is not too bad in the anti-bacterial hand soap, but really gets up your nose with the hand & body lotion.

I tried the Body Mist, as it came with my set and as long as I only do a short spray in the air and allow a small amount to fall on me, it is not too bad. I would have much preferred the cucumber melon or the fresh water fragrances.

All the products in this line work great, it is just that the brown sugar vanilla gets up my nose, and then I have to take a shower, to remove the smell.

I have given my hand & body lotion to a friend who doesn't mind strong smells, but I much prefer delicate ones.

I recommend that you go into the store, and test a sample first before deciding, which fragrance you are going to purchase. I would be really disappointed if I had paid for this product.

I purchased the set of John Frieda Collection Root Awakening products and today I am reviewing the Health Infusing Shampoo for normal hair. The tube I am using is 1.5 fluid ounces (44 ml) and is a bright green color.

I unscrewed the cap of the shampoo and squeezed a little of the clear liquid into my hands and put it up to my nose. This is one of the hardest fragrances to determine. There is a floral smell, a hint of eucalyptus, and an earthy smell. I have to say that it is very pleasant.

Next I applied the shampoo to my hair making sure that I went from scalp to the ends of my hair. It had a great lather and my head started to tingle.

Normally I love Estee Lauder products, but when I started using the Lash XL Maximum Length Mascara, it didn't give me the wow factor I expected.

The color I always wear is black and with my other Estee Lauder mascaras I have had really black, thick, long lashes.

I applied it as with any other mascara, and I got black eyelashes, they were slightly thicker, but I couldn't see any extra length. I let it dry and then did a second coat. My eyelashes were improved.

I want a mascara that does the job in one go. I don't mind re-applying if I am going dancing in the evening, but having to do two coats first thing, is too much of a chore for me.

The mascara stays well and I have no problem removing it with a good quality cleanser. However, I will not be purchasing the Estee Lauder Lash XL Maximum Length Mascara again. I think that the title does not reflect the product.

I am now back to my other Estee Lauder mascara, More Than Mascara, and my Lancome double mascara.

L'Oreal Wear Infinite Eye Shadow caught my eye when I was in the Dollar Tree store. At a price of just one dollar, who wouldn't purchase it.

I love beige and brown, so the color I chose was 834. This compact has 4 different shades, starting with beige, dark beige, tan, and the brown. It also comes with 2 applicators, which is great, as you can use each side for a different color.

The first time I used the palette, I put the beige over both eyelids as an undercoat. Then I applied the brown near my eyelashes, and blended it up to the crease in my eyelids. This gave a great look to my eyes. I finished off with black mascara.

I have also used the beige with the darker beige, and the beige with the tan. All of them work well together.

These eye shadows stay all day and don't have any flaking.

At the end of the evening, I just use one of my cleansers and apply it to my makeup. I then rinse well, and remove with a cotton ball.

Recently I received 3 samples from Bodycology. I love the anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap, and now am trying the hand & body lotion. The fragrance I have is brown sugar vanilla.

The Hand & Body Lotion comes in ten of the twelve fragrances, Coconut Lime, Brown Sugar Vanilla, Cherry Blossom, Raspberries and cream, Apple Orchard, White Gardenia, Sweet Petals, Cucumber Melon, Vanilla Romance, and Berrypear.

The first thing you notice about the brown sugar vanilla hand & body lotion is the smell. It is really strong and if you use too much, it can be a little overpowering. This is more like a cream than a lotion. It rubbed into my hands very easily and I was amazed that they immediately felt damp/moist.

I had only used a small amount but it really does go far. I had actually put too much on my hands and had to remove some with a Kleenex.

I then applied more lotion to the rest of my body. I used far less lotion than I do with any of my other moisturizing lotions and creams. ...

I was lucky enough to receive three samples of Bodycology products with the Brown Sugar Vanilla fragrance. They were anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap, hand and body lotion, and body mist.

Today I am writing about the anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap. It comes in Clean Lemon, Coconut Lime, Sweet Petals, and the Brown Sugar Vanilla.

Time to wash my hands and I do like to use hot water for this. I wet my hands and then squeezed some of the Bodycology brown sugar vanilla anti-bacterial scrubbing hand soap, into them. I then gave my hands a good wash with the soap. It was a clear soap but had 'scubbing beads' in the liquid. It was like tiny bits of grit. I washed them really well and then rinsed them off in the water. I put my hands up to my nose and they had this warm smelling fragrance about them. It was really pleasant.
