It's a very quiet dishwasher as it said. In the past I only turned on the dishwasherat night time before I went to bed and now I am no longer needed to do so. The noraml wash cycle which  is a little longer than I expected, about 2 hrs. Overall the dishwasher is good, very good looking and sparkling clean....
