Stunger says "Vacation - Chevy Chase at his best" about National Lampoon's Vacation

This is without a doubt my all-time favorite movie. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are the perfect couple and Anthony Michael Hall and Dana Baron reminded me what it was like to sit in the back seat on long road trips.

This whole cast played so well off of each other even if their parts were small. Randy Quaid as "Cousin Eddie" just stole the scenes he was in and who forget Imogene Coca as "Aunt Edna"? Eddie Bracken played "Roy Walley" and there were famous cameo's by Christie Brinkley.

Chevy Chase is definately an actor you either love or hate and I have always been a huge fan of most of his work. This led him to several big hits in the early 80's and cemented his place in comedy's front man status.
...

Stunger says "Jim Carey's lisp annoyed the hell out of me." about The Cable Guy

Could not get over Jim Carey's annoying accent, it was like fingers on a chalkboard and I like Jim's other movies. "The Cable Guy" was the longest I have ever sat in one space hating everything about a movie without just getting up and turning it off.

A friend of mine recommended this movie, I haven't talked to him since. I know some people might find this funny but it was horrible in my opinion. I watch so called stupid movies and I love dumb humor but they killed this one.

I don't know what Jim Carey and Mathew Broderick were thinking on this one except it pays cash. I have loads of respect for both actors so I thought this would be a can't miss and boy was I wrong.
...

Stunger says "Get what you pay for." about Nintendo - Wii Console

It's exactly as advertised, interactive games, loads of family fun. I purchased this system on a whim over the Holidays and it's been alot of fun. I spent alot of money purchasing new game after new game but I find myself playing Wii Sports which is included as much as any other game.

The only negative I find is game prices, the same game on another system is usually cheaper than of the Wii console. Alot of the games are hard to find because of consumer demand. I have still yet to find a couple of titles I was looking for after my purchase.

It's good for all ages, children, moms and dads, grandparents - we've had eveyone playing at family get togethers. There are games that are physically demanding and games that almost require no movement so anyone can use this product.
...

Stunger says "It's the same old Kmart" about Kmart - Front Royal, VA

Pretty much nothing has changed since it was built except for the signs and the paint. For years KMART was the only department store in town after the "Roses" store closed. Unless you wanted to go 15-20 miles out of the way we had to depend on KMART for everything but groceries.

Compared to other KMART's within the area I would compare prices and the cities in which the were other department stores their prices were cheaper. Because they had the run of our town I felt their prices were too high. Now we have lots of competition and they've had to lower prices to stay in business.

It's always been a small town, a KMART type of town but with expasion and growth all of that is changing. KMART will have to change or they will be the next big retail chain with "Going out of Business" signs plastered all over the front.
...

Stunger says "Above average for Walmart" about Walmart - Front Royal, VA

The Front Royal store is clean, spacious and besides the catfood isle, normally well stocked. Even though it took longer than it should Front Royal finally got a Walmart. The town knew it was a matter of time and now it's almost like it's been here forever.

I'm usually in here shopping multiple times each week since it's on the same side of town in which I reside. There are always the usual greeters waiting by the door as you enter and exit. The Front Royal Walmart store is never to crowded even when it's busy, very seldom do you have to wait in the checkout lines too long.

You still have to shop for the best prices as they tend to fluctuate each week.
...
