http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/Sport Mon, 04 Aug 2008 11:46:14 GMT Reviews by Sport http://www.viewpoints.com/Sleep-Number-Bed-Select-Comfort-review-a0f14 I purchased my Sleep Number Bed about 2 1/2 years ago.  The first year the remote control stopped working which was replaced under warranty.  After 2 years one side would loose about 1/2 of its air every 2 - 3 days.  I called the company for help, but had to self diagnose it.  They do not have someone to check it for you.  After 3 - 4 calls they said I needed a new pump.  My cost (20%) would be $158.  I was told to get it now because each year the cost goes up.  I decided to forgo getting the pump because I am not sure whether the pump is bad.  My wife's side does not loose air.  It could be the pump hose, a connector, an air chamber, etc.. For what you pay for this mattress there ought to be better quality.  When I can no longer put up with adding air than I will get a better mattress....
