I noticed 6 separate pending charges over a period of 3 days totalling $3000 made at a department store in a state half way across the country. I called them every day for three days, first day after the first 2 charges, the second day there was 4 and finally on the third day there was 6. I pointed out each time that this was obvious fraudulent activity on my account but they refused to put me over to the fraud dept. until the third day. I had a large mortgage check I had written and it could have easily bounced since these fools wouldn't reverse the charges....
