SophieSweetie says "Flowing water for even the pickiest cat!" about Hagen Catit Drinking Fountain

The Catit Drinking Fountain was a life saver for us!

Our elderly cat had always preferred running water to a bowl of still water, but as she got older, she had a hard time drinking out of the bowl - I don't think she could see the water very well. She took to pawing the water, which oftentimes left us with more mess and no water in the bowl!

The Catit really caught my attention, because it allows the cat(s) to either drink from the reservoir, or to lap the water running over the surface of the dome. I felt this item would be the best for our old lady, so I purchased it.

It worked out great! It holds quite a bit of water, for starters, and it is so quiet! The only time it makes noise is when it gets low on water - which is really a good indicator that you need to refill the dome. There's a filter on the edge of the outer reservoir that the water flows through - it does a great job of catching all of the food particles and hair that make their way into the water.

The cost of the fountain was......

SophieSweetie says "Works like a charm!" about Comfort Zone with Feliway Plug-Ins

We had an elderly cat who started to urinate outside of the litter box for no discernable reason, so I did my research and found rave reviews for Feliway - both the spray and the diffuser. Took about 2 weeks of regular use, but it did the trick!

After our old lady passed away, a kitten found his way into our lives (showed up out of nowhere!). Our new kitten insisted on scratching our sofas instead of using the awesome cat tree we'd bought for him (of course!)... so, I decided break the Feliway back out. Sprayed the furniture and used the diffuser. Took a little while, but it still worked!

Then we decided to get our new kitty a companion, and the diffuser worked wonders to alleviate the usual tensions of introducing a new cat into the home.

It doesn't smell, it's easy to use, and it works to calm the cats down. Great stuff!
...

SophieSweetie says "I'm a die-hard fan of the Buick LeSabre!" about Buick LeSabre - 2001

This car is a great mix of luxury and economy.

I own the Limited Edition, which typically comes with more bells and whistles than the Custom does. The interior is roomy and well-thought out. The seats are comfortable, even on long drives - and those heated seats come in handy on those cold winter days. The heating and air conditioning work extremely well, and the sound system is great.

The car offers a nice, quiet ride, but still handles extremely well. I average about 26 mpg - that includes a mix of in-town and highway driving.

I have owned several LeSabres in the past, and each year range has had its quirks. This particular year range seems to be the electric window motor assembly. As a previous reviewer had mentioned, the window motor assemblies tend to go bad - this is due to poor engineering and flimsy housing. And there's no way to really fix the unit when it goes bad - you have to have the entire thing replaced, and it also ran about 500 dollars for me to do so. Luckily, I purchased......

SophieSweetie says "This phone has it all!" about Samsung - SCH-u740 Cell Phone

I absolutely love my Samsung SCH-u740 phone!

I bought it because of the full QWERTY keypad and its dual-flip capability - but I've come to really depend on it for more than just texting! It's great for keeping reminders, playing games and taking impromptu video clips (just keep 'em short!).

Can't say I'm too excited about the camera - but it does okay in outdoor/bright light situations. Again, good in a pinch when you don't have your regular camera about.

It is fairly user-friendly, although I do sometimes have a bit of trouble with the keyboard, given that the keypads are on the small side, and I tend to type in a hurry.

It gets great signal in most places.

All in all, it's a great phone....
