This was the only thing she would sleep in.   If she was fussy we could put her in the glider and it calmed her right down.  It is soothing for babies with not a lot of toys on it so they can relax in it.  there is two types of music on faster and on slower and there are 2 speeds.  You can turn gliders in any direction, it does a 360 so the baby can glide in what ever direction they want to. My daughter now 5 months will still go in it and calm down when she is fussy.  We didn't have a bassinet when we came home and am very glad we had this.  I have recommend this to many friends and they have all loved it.  this is a must have.... The montior has two settings one that is on all the time and the other that only comes on when there is noise. I use the setting that is on all the time and it is great. I can hear her breating when she is in her crib sleeping. I would not use anything else. The only down fall is sometimes there is interferance and if the receiver is near andything electronic I get beeping.... My baby leaks out of everything else. The only time I have a problem with these are when we are read for the next size up. Then she leaks out of the smaller ones.
