Shro says "Re: Whirlpool Quiet Partner-I hate this dishwasher!" about Whirlpool Dishwasher - "Quiet Partner 2" Built-in

My husband & I have lived in 8 homes in 20 years. We built our current home in 2003, & chose Whirlpool appliances for the kitchen. We have the Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher, & though it is very quiet, there's nothing else to say even remotely positive about it. My dishes frequently come out dirtier than they went in! I have tried (literally) every dishwashing detergent made, & it doesn't make much difference. It doesn't rinse food off the plates, lipstick stays on the glasses, & don't get me started on the silverware. We have already replaced the racks, because so many tines broke loose. (The plastic wears off, then they rust & break during the cycle). Even on the lowest level, tall glasses don't fit on the top rack, & if you put the silverware caddy in the rack instead of the door, you can't fit utensils in it. I will be receiving a new dishwasher for Christmas, & will never buy Whirlpool again.
...
