Shelbia says "Works Beautifully" about Lubriderm Intense Skin Repair Body Lotion, Pack of 2 16 oz

I am a diabetic and this tends to cause my skin to become dry and flakey. I tried Lubriderm because nothing seemed to help and my doctor recommended it. I wasn't too happy with the price because it is usually one of the more expensive lotions. That more than anything was why I had never tried it before. The dry skin was was becoming such a problem that I threw caution to the winds and spent the extra money. I was amazed with the results. Within a few days my skin was visibly better. it was soft and smooth and the itching and flaking was gone. It was well worth the price and I would recommend Lubriderm to anyone with dry skin...

Caress is one of my absolute favorite soaps. It is excellent for anyone with a dry skin problem because it actually has oil in it. It smells fantastic and comes in a variety of scents. One of my favorite things about Caress is that it lathers very well. There is nothing like a tub or a shower full of great smelling lather. I always make sure that there is plenty of Caress in my...

Shelbia says "Rescue Me!" about Comcast - Cable Company

Oh how I wish I had a choice!. I live in an area where there is only one cable company and since I live in an apartment, Direct TV is not an option. The cable company seems to know this and take full advantage of the situation. The bills are high and the service is bad. If you are late with a payment they disrupt service without even a warning or late notice. When the service goes out due to weather etc they are not likely to credit you for time without service and they don't rush to turn it back on. I recently spent three days without tv,computer, or phone because I have a package. That totally sucked and it was irritating because they didn't seem to care. It gets worse because they didn't come out the first day because they said I need to be at home and since they didn't show up within their window of time, I had to call and reschedule because I had a prior appointment. The next day I went through an entire day of waiting for...

Shelbia says "Would love to be on the show" about What Not To Wear

I think this show is great. I love Stacey and Clinton. They always seem to know exactly what they are talking about. While they can be brutal, they are good at what they do and they really seem to care about improving people's self esteem. The make up is also great. I am not always so sure about the hair choices though. My one complaint about this show would be that Nick doesn't seem to know very much about African American hair. Perhaps they should have more than one stylist for just such...

This is one of the greatest restaurants in the area. They have great price deals on the food. You can get a complete meal including dessert for a reasonable price. The servings are huge and best of all the food taste great. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. I would reccommend this place to...

I thought this movie was great. It was funny while still managing to touch on serious issues. The actors did a great job and could have been people that I personally knew. I am definitely glad I got a chance to see...

I really enjoyed Jumper. I thought the storyline was great and my interest was held throughout the movie. The actors did a fine job and the special effects were just right. I wasn't very happy with the end. There was no real resolution. The door is open for a sequel, but I think they could have done a better job of winding up. I read online that this movie sucked, but I am glad I went anyway. It really was worth seeing. —...

Shelbia says "A fantastic read" about The Stand

I love almost everything by Stephen King, but I put off reading this because it was so long. As an English major at the time, I had a lot of reading and writing to do so I found it hard to get into really long novels for pleasure. I am however a compulsive reader and found myself in a situation where this novel was the only thing around to read. I started it and found myself unable to put it down. It was fantastic and well worth the time it took to read it. I always think a book is really good when I find myself wanting more after it is over. that was the case with this novel. I applaud Stephen King on The Stand. I like the movie too, but it could never live up to the...

This is a book that I read because it was assigned in a college literature class. I read it years before the movie came out. I didn't expect to like it, but I fell in love. The original book is not labeled as written by William Goldman and I thought the whole idea of the secret author situation was cool. I love the book because it was full of surprise and held my interest throughout. I love the whole happy ending good guys wins fairytale and I thought the book seemed to have something for everyone. The whole concept is unique and I believe that makes it very...

Shelbia says "great outlet, but huge scam" about poetry.com

I am sure there are some good aspects to poetry.com, but it is hard to find them among all the junk mail and spam. Everyone who submits to them receives mailings telling the writer how wonderful they are and promising all kinds of great awards and honors all of which cost money. if you want to see your name in print, it is a good thing because they will publish you, but of course you have to buy the anthology if you want a copy of your printed work. — I am published by them and it is a pretty decent book, but nothing that will ever get me real recognition because usually only frustrated hopefuls buy them. Still, the company sends me almost daily emails telling me that I am the greatest thing since sliced bread and trying to get me to purchase various services they offer. The voice of reason reminds me that if they think I have such talent then why haven't I actually won one of their contests? I honestly don't believe anyone ever truly wins, especially after...

Shelbia says "Most of the time I love it" about eBay

Although I often find myself thinking the people who bid on Ebay are crazy, I really love the site. You can find almost anything there and I have sometimes gotten some really great deals. The crazy part is what some people are willing to pay for broken cell phones and items that one could get cheaper in stores without the added shipping charges. — i especially like that I have been able to get hard to find music and movies for very low prices. I have only had two bad experiences out of hundreds of transactions and I have even sold a few items there. Overall, I think it is a great experience, but it can be addicting. —...

Shelbia says "So Far So Good" about Pay Pal Online

I have had pretty goog luck with paypal so far. My ebay transactions have been well handled and all disputes have been handled quickly with litle or no pain. The only problem I have had was with a password issue. mine suddenly became invalid for reasons I have yet to figure out. it was a hassle to straighten out. most especially because it is very hard to get a live person on the phone when you need one. Over all though, I would give them a good rating because they make my life...

I think the previews of this show are very interesting but the show sucks. It is boring and seems kind of cruel and pointless to me. The long pause before the results are revealed is more irritating than suspenseful. I believe that the higher level questions could be devastating to family members involved and I am not sure I want to see someone's life ruined or torn apart on national TV just for the sake of ratings and someones greed. I think the show could have potential, but it would need to have a major re-haul. —...

My best friend just gave me this phone as a Christmas present. It was love at first sight.
Shelbia says "Absolutely Love this show" about Don't Forget the Lyrics

I love this show. Wayne Brady is great and the contestants are fun. I like the singing bee on NBC, but I think this show is better. There is more of a challenge and I can get more involved with the contestant. The contestants on the Singing bee are hard to route for because they are not around long enough for us to get to know them. Don't forget the lyrics catches us up in the action because the contestants become real people with an actual purpose for the money and they really have to work for it. — I always think I really know music, but this show throws me out in left field each episode. It is amazing how you can suddenly second guess yourself about the lyric to a song you have been singing along to for years. I love to play along The only con I can see is that no one will ever win the million dollars. It is too great a risk because you would lose a lot if you blew the million dollar question. Still I...

Shelbia says "One of my two Favorites" about Dawn Dishwashing Liquid

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Dawn. It lives up to all of it claims and is worth every penny spent on it. It doesn't take a lot to wash a sink full of dishes and it has the right amount of bubbles. It cuts through the toughest grease and can even disolve a pot of left over cooking oil without clogging drains. the truth is if your sink is stopped up because someone poured grease into it, Dawn will usually take care of the problem. — I like palmolive because of the scent and its gentleness on hands, but for tough jobs I would always choose Dawn. It comes in more than one scent and color, but the original is the best. —...

Shelbia says "Love-hate relationship" about Nokia - 6133 Cell Phone

There are things about this phone that I really love. Probably the most important thing is the fact that I can get reception almost anywhere, I also really love the radio/music player. The sound quality is great and I love the stereo earbuds. It takes great pictures as well and some of the graphics are cool. — I don't like the fact that I have to charge the phone so often. I tend to use it a lot and sometimes feel I need to carry an extra battery or a spare phone to avoid the loss of service. I also don't like the fact that it doesn't come with a travel charger since that makes keeping the phone charged up even more challenging. — Another issue I have is that the alarm doesn't ring loudly enough and if I rely on it to wake up I often don't hear it. I also wish I could listen to music without having to have the earpiece attached. — One cool feature though is that once...
