Shel785 says "Great savings and great quality!" about Earthlink

We made the change from landline to Voip over a year ago and haven't looked back. I was able to set the whole thing up online and even kept my own phone number. The estimated up to three weeks for the box to arrive and it got here in under a week. The installation was a snap. We did hit a bump with an old router that we had to have changed out (thankfully, no charge with our service). Cost is very reasonable. Free long distance, voicemail, caller ID (which we'd never sprung for before), free call blocking, free online voicemail check, and more. When using the phone I've never even noticed a difference between the old landline and the Voip!...

Shel785 says "Not all it's cracked up to be" about GE - 5.8 ghz Cordless Phone

The first few months with this phone were great. Thank the second unit started losing it's connection occasionally with the central base unit, until it was gone altogether. It wasn't a battery thing because I tried that. Not sure why it won't keep the connection, but very disappointed with GE product....

Shel785 says "There's nothing like sleeping on air" about Select Comfort Sleep Number Bed 4000

I was hesitant about this purchase, but my husband was having back problems with our traditional spring mattress, so we took the plunge. The transition was great for him, a bit harder for me. I'm convinced most people give up before they find their number because it can take a while. I was over a month (five nights is the recommded time trying a number to give your body time to adjust and see if you sleep well on it). Once we got our sleep numbers though, it's been great. He gets the rock he wants and I'm getting a little support. I also am not being disturbed at night by his rolling over, like I was in a traditional spring mattress. Cost is a bit much, but when you consider the life of the mattress is so much more than a traditional spring mattress, it makes sense. Overall, it's been a good choice for us!...

Shel785 says "This is the last brand of vacuum cleaner I'll ever own!" about Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum

Okay, I never thought I'd pay this much for a vacuum and I certainly never thought I'd LOVE a vacuum cleaner! I would never have bought this for myself, but my husband insisted. I've had so many different brands and after a while they just don't work. Well, after two years with my Dyson I love it still! The suction never stops, the canister is so easy to empty, when something clogs the pipes you don't even need a tool to take it out, the extension wand is great for hard to reach places, and removing the wand for dusting is an added bonus. I'm a loyal Dyson customer now....

Shel785 says "Best investment for avid TV viewers!" about Vizio - VX37L Television

We just love this TV! We are avid DVD watchers and the increased quality with the upscan is great! It also has a built in tuner that allows us to get the HD stations over the airwaves with our antenne (sure beats paying for cable!). The price was right, at Sam's Club. We even talked my parents into purchasing one. The one down side is the screen cleaning, spray on suntan lotion got on the screen and I had to pay $10 for a solution and cloth to clean it (not horrible to maintain a good TV, but for the cost conscious a bit pricy)....
