Do you like to express your feelings on paper? I find it very helpful to pour my heart and soul into my poetry and then I found a site that I could post them on. The site is poetry.com, not only do you get recognized for your work, you could also win cash prizes.

I have been posting poetry there for several years now. All but one of my poems have been selected for publication. The International Society of Poets selects collections of poetry several times a year for publication. They also select poems periodically to be professionally read and produced on CD's.

The first edition of Poetry in Motion CD's featured one of my poems. The third edition also featured one of poems. In 2007, I was published in the "Who's Who in Poetry and named the United States of America Ambassador of Poetry by the International Society of Poets. Who would have ever thought that a simple country girl could go so far with poetry? My son wrote about my accomplishments and did a biography on me for his English...

Avon Driven by Derek Jeter Cologne Eau de Toilette Spray is the bomb as my son would say! He is the tight-end on his middle school football team and the girls just love to sniff him! He laughs at them and says: "Back off and don't tackle the tight-end!" He is loves all the Derek Jeter products and uses them religiously. Maybe even more than he should since he is now a babe magnet!

He would only wear Cool Water until I twisted his arm and had him try some of the Avon fragrances. He didn't think that Avon was cool enough for his age group at the time. He thought it was for all the older folks like his grandpa. But once he found out that we had a line that was promoted by Derek Jeter that changed things drastically. Derek Jeter is a baseball champion, founder of the Turn2 Foundation and the role model for our generation. What an awesome individual and what better cologne to reflect those quailites than Avon Driven by Derek Jeter Cologne Eau de Toilette Spray.

I have been using Arm & Hammer Baking Soda for many years and most of the other members covered the uses of it.

I try to use environmentally safe items over chemicals and drain cleaner is on the top of that list.

I simply take the used boxes of Arm & Hammer Baking soda from the freezers and fridge and sprinkle them into all the drains in the house. I follow up by adding white vinegar until it starts to foam up, I let it do its thing for a few minutes and then flush the drains out with water.

This not only freshens the drains but it helps to prevent the clogs without using chemicals. What a great way to extend the use of the used up baking soda too!

I love Avon's Silicone Glove Hand Cream! I have used it for years because of the rapid results it provides. I previously worked in the fast food industry and was constantly washing my hands which dried them out severely. I tried several different products that were on the market, but nothing worked like Avon's Silicone Glove hand cream! My hands would be raw from extreme hand washing and it was first aid to my hands with quick results.

Regardless of the source of your dryness, nothing will relieve it faster than Silicone Glove. I have sensitive skin and that was a concern at first, but no problem with this product. I keep the large tube in my bathroom and several small tubes in handy locations, like my purse and desk.

Let me tell you about our GRILL HOUND:

We raised a teacup Chihuahua from birth that was weaned off its mother too early. She fit into the palm of my hand at the time. We named her "Sparkles Taco Morales " because of her eyes and the TACO BELL commercial. She was an important part of our family until she went to that dog heaven in the sky.

We are forever grilling outside. So when my husband started up the grill, Sparkles would find a spot close to homestead until he finished cooking. Now for the funny part, he would always let her be the official taster. So if anyone else entered "THE ZONE" she would growl and go into attack mood with her hair raised high on her back. It was all an act but her way of letting you know that I rule this domain. Once my husband gave her a rib bone, if you really wanted a laugh, watch him try to grab the bone out of her dish. It was so funny, she had the growl of a Rockweiller. But would mellow out as soon as he pet her.

I have been a member with Greenfield since 2003, many, many changes over the years. The trend seems to be more surveys with less winners when sponsorship is low. I manage to earn $50-75 a month from this company, sometimes more. The secret to earning money with these surveys is to answer them as soon as possible after they hit your mailbox. A good clue that you won't quailfy is when you see the OTX emblem appear in the partner's survey site. I have found that the first half of the survey is the screening process and if you make past there you are in good shape. These screeners also benefit in other ways, the companies end up sending coupons to you in the mail, etc...

I love the fact they now offer payments via paypal.com, I requested a check this past Sunday and today(Thursday) I was notified by paypal that it had been posted to my account. Check them out.

My family loves mexican food. Heck they love food period...

What is SPAM?

Well it is not what you get in your emails! That is for sure. I was surprised recently to find out how many people have never eaten Spam. I love the canned meat and have been eating it for years. It is a staple in my home especially during hurricane season.

Spam comes in the following varieties: SPAM Classic, SPAM Lite, SPAM Low Sodium, SPAM Garlic, SPAM Bacon, SPAM Turkey, SPAM Hickory Smoke, SPAM with Cheese, SPAM Golden Honey Grail, SPAM Hot & Spicy, SPAM Spread and SPAM Singles.

So What Can You Do With SPAM?

There is no end to the things you can do with SPAM. We take it with us on fishing trips because it is so portable and convenient. You can use it in any recipe that calls for ham.

Why Choose This Tea?

If you are looking for a good, quality tea that is not bitter, then Luzianne is the tea for you. I have tried just about every brand that is out there and nothing taste better to me than Luzianne tea. I can count on it for always providing the same strength each time I brew it. Many of the other teas have a sour taste to them if they are not consumed the same day they are made. Our family drinks nothing but sweet tea and if I change brands they know it too. When we attend family gatherings, my sweet tea is always requested. If that isn't endorsement enough, I don't know what is!

Cons:

Only a few supermarkets stock Luzianne tea in our area. I am willing to drive to other locations to purchase it.

My first visit to El Jalisco was love at first bite! I love mexican food, if it is authentic and this is the place to go for sure. The restaurant is operated by Mexican families who provide a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Where Can You Find This Place?

I have family members in the Crawfordville area and I make it a meeting point on a regular basis. They are located on Crawfordville Highway just north of Crawfordville, FL, on the left-hand side of the road if you driving in from Tallahassee, FL.

There is also a location on N. Monroe Street in Tallahassee, FL. They are located on the left-hand side of the road just past the Northwood Mall/Martin Luther King Blvd. They have locations in various places I am told but not sure where. I will be looking into that though.

I was completing surveys for cash on-line for over a year when I was contacted by Homescan and invited to become a home scanner. The company representative explained all the details to me and I decided to join.

The Pros:

I was sent a bar-code scanner, a welcome notebook, a sheet of bar-codes for items that won't scan, USB cable that is capable with all computers and support documentation. You get to purchase the items you would normally purchase, scan the items and transmit the report weekly to earn points. I am earning 225 points each week for transmitting my purchases.

You can also complete surveys to earn extra points and often your entire family is invited. This great because each person that completes the survey adds points to your account. Surveys usually earn 200-300 points per survey. The more you transmit the more chances you have to win prizes in addition to your points. Why we love this system (PROS):

We purchased the system as a Christmas gift in 2002 for our children to enjoy. and we are still using it. Our family is very impressed with the game cube system. We enjoy swapping out games for new or used games at the gaming stores. The game selection is awesome. The color selection was great and allowed us to choose a cool color that they would enjoy. The handle makes it ideal for travel and quick clean-up when they are finished with the game.

Life can be shocking at times:

In 2004, an electrical short from our power company traveled throughout the house shorting out many electrical items. The game appeared to be fried since we couldn't get it to power on. As fate would have it, it turned out to only be the A/C adapter which I was able to purchase new online at eBay.com for less than five bucks including shipping. We connected the new adapter and the system worked fine.

LOVE AT FIRST SITE:

I really loved my 2005 Ford Freestar. Our family was expanding, my first grandchild was on the way, I was taking care of my father and traveling out of town for medical treatment so we upgraded from a king-cab truck to a mini-van. The first thing that impressed me was the way it looked. I was roomy enough to transport 7 passengers comfortably and room left for cargo inside or on the luggage rack if needed. During my test drive, the one requirement that it had to have was a good turning radius. I hate to get in tight spots and have to maneuver the vehicle several times to get in and out of it. I loved the way this van handled and the smooth ride it provided. It was my "Mother's Day" gift from my husband. I was tickled pink with my "garnet & gold" "FSU" colored van.

THE PERFORMANCE & SAFETY POINTS:

I have been a member of Mypoints.com since 2005. I really enjoy earning points for reading emails and purchasing items that I need via their site. The points really add up fast and I always look forward to redeeming the points for gift cards to my favorite restaurants. It is my way of treating my family to a nice evening out and staying within our entertainment budget.

My experience with Verizon Wireless did not meet my communication needs. I was constantly getting poor or dropped connections. I depend on my cell phone service for business and personal reasons, so it is important to stay connected at all times. During my travels on the road, I was experiencing many areas where no connection was available or the calls would be dropped in rural areas. Most of these areas were within 50 miles of a major city. The plans did not offer flexibility in changing without renewing for the entire contract period. Situations change in life and the plans should be able to change to meet those needs as well. Getting a free phone every two years was a nice bonus. However, the quality of those phones left a lot to be desired. The phones would not hold a charge for very long, some of them could not be used in areas where several electronic items were located without the calls being dropped. Getting service work done on the phones was a major hassle since it required extended......
