http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/SarahB Tue, 20 Nov 2007 01:14:42 GMT Reviews by SarahB http://www.viewpoints.com/Hoover-SteamVac-Upright-Vacuum-SpinScrub-F5914-900-review-e6400 <p>I bought this steam cleaner because I have 2 young children who play on the floor alot.  I wanted something easy to use, that I could pull out frequently and run often.  I use my machine on average every 3 weeks.  And even at that frequency I dump out some pretty nasty looking water.  I love that the carpets dry quickly after I am done, that is the key.  If they didnt dry fast than I would know that it wasnt getting all the water sucked back up.  I end up getting the change in pitch letting me know that the dirty water tank needs emptied way before I've run out of clean water.</p><p>The attachments and the hose for them is pretty bulky, so I took that off of the back and stored it away.  I have tried using it on my furniture, and its rather difficult since the water soaks right into the cushions.  It hard to get the majority of the water back out.</p><p>On carpets though, the Steam Vac is great!!</p>...
