Sammi313 says "Very smart bird, does not need your constant attention" about Bird Bare Eyed Cockatoo

I went to the local aviary to purchase an Umbrella Cockatoo. After asking my lifestyle and work habits, the store owner swayed me over to purchase a Bare Eyed Cockatoo instead. Best advise I'd ever been given, and perfect match! Bare Eyeds (or Little Corellas) are native to Australia and need very little attention to be happy. Very smart and intuitive, these birds live a long time, so be prepared to make a lifelong commitment when raising them. My female picks up tricks in a very short time; she was waving and saying "go bye-bye" at just 7 weeks old! She likes to cuddle and knows what "give me a hug" means as she nuzzles my cheek. Not extremely talkative, but words are annunciated properly. I can go to work for 8 hours a day, and there was no squawking or scraming when I'm not there, and everything is status quo when I do get home!
...

Sammi313 says "Owning a Macaw is a Lifelong commitment" about Blue and Gold Macaw

These parrots are absolutely gorgeous. But with good looks come a very loud squawk, sometimes when they are happy, sometimes as a warning. I have a hand fed Macaw six years old who is a cuddler and a talker. He does scream when his cage mate gets down out of their cage and walks around, so he's warning me. They are a lifelong commitment and will give years of pleasure to someone who absolutely loves birds. Boarding them when you vacation is not cheap, neither are the food or toys, which are both consumable products for them. You shouldn't mind sweeping or vacuuming as they are used to throwing food down from the trees when the live in the wild, to animals down below, so they will certainl do that from their cage. I love my macaw, but they aren't for everyone. Get your fix at the pet shop, but leave them there if you cannot give them a lifetime of love.
...

Sammi313 says "Great variety of colors- very economical!" about Red Heart Super Saver Yarn

This yarn holds up to many washings, great for afghans and crafts, worsted weight yarn that keeps it shape - no need for blocking. I love the variety of colors to mix and match, always a great buy whether I hit the local sales or order online. Soft enough for almost any crochet or knit project.
...

Sammi313 says "These are absolutely adorable and easy to make!" about Nordic Ware Backyard Bugs Muffin pan

I love Nordic Ware! Everything they make is innovative, creative, and easy! This pan has two each; ladybug, bumble bee, dragonfly, and butterfly muffins. Spray with Bakers Joy and pour in cake batter. The imprinted detail of each bug comes out intact when muffins are flipped out of the pan after baking. Easy to decorate, I outline frost them and add piping gel for the details inside the dragonfly and butterfly wings. They are a little indented to prevent frosting runoff. Great for easy snack for kids, I've used muffin and cake mixes, both come out equally well. Cute idea for tea parties!
...

Sammi313 says "Great value for the money holds a ton of music" about Toshiba - Gigabeat MP3 Player

I bought my husband one of these that was 20 gig, and liked it so much I bought one for myself. I like the idea of hard drive instead of flash drive storage, but you have to be careful not to drop it on it's head. Great value for the money, I have yet to fill the disk with enough songs... with 80 gig storage, I have far to go. The ear pieces that came with it are far superior in bass and treble and clarity than the ones I bought from Brookstone and Sharper Image! Holds alot of photos and music is catagorized in classes, by artist, by song, or creating playlists. Merges music well with all Windows programs. I love it....

Sammi313 says "I never used to be a coffee drinker, until Boca Java" about Boca Java Coffee

My husband was the coffee drinker in our house, until I signed up for Boca Java coffee club. I was amazed at the selections, thinking them more like ice cream flavors than actual coffee, but pleasantly surprised when my blends arrived, sealed in nice pouches that allowed for you to peel the strip and smell the contents.

We ordered the beans, wanting fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee from the start. We were not disappointed in a single flavor! The package labels are colorful and descriptive without making false promises... all the coffees tasted like they were described!

I've given several gift packages away to family and friends who have raved about the coffee as well, and their points program allowed me to try different chai latte or cocoa mixes by simply redeeming the points. They also have a wonderful "coffee to the troops" program that we have donated to, with a nice letter of thanks and an explanation of the troops that receive their coffee.
...

Sammi313 says "The very best wing sauce cooked and bottled to perfection " about Hodges Chicken Wing Sauce

This is distinctively different from Buffalo Wing sauce you are used to. Mild and hot wing sauce doesn't smother the wings in overpowering vinegar and spices, the special blend makes it delicious and enhances the wings to real home cooked/grilled flavor. I baked this sauce onto the wings and have also tossed the wings in sauce.. any variation works!...

I only wish Zweigle's were sold everywhere instead of exclusively in Upstate NY. There has never been anything to compare with pop (or burst) when you cook them flavor on the grill. Always best smothered in French's Spicy Brown Mustard and Nick Tahoe's hot sauce!...

Sammi313 says "It took the adjuster 47 days to total my vehicle!" about Allstate

I don't have Allstate as an insurance provider for a reason... they lack in best rates, customer service, and competent employees! I was rear-ended by someone covered by Allstate, I could tell before the assessment that the car would be a total loss, but Allstate claim adjuster told me the car was "fixable" - everything was crunched in from the rear bumper that fell off all the way to the driver's door! They had the car in the shop for 47 days before Allstate came in and finally totalled the loss. Endless phone calls were never returned and I talked to the adjuster live on the phone exactly twice through the entire ordeal. I heard more frequently from the car rental place than I did from Allstate. They drag their feet on everything....
