SRunzicker says "Awesome!" about Craigslist

Craig's List has got to be one of the latest world wonders! It is an awesome way to find things you need (or think you need) in a relatively inexpensive manner.

Being able to "localize" your searches saves you a lot of headache in the long run... not much sense to be interested in an item that will cost you a fortune to have shipped or need to drive cross country to pick up.

It would be nice if there was a better way to police the rule violators such as the "dealers and stores" that continuely post their items in the everyday people categories.

All in all... Craig's List is awesome!
...

SRunzicker says "Home Depot beats Lowes hands down!" about Home Depot vs. Lowes Online

We recently purchased a home and did some thorough comparision shopping at Home Depot and Lowes. Home Depot consistently beat Lowes in every category!

Hope Depot's employees were much more friendly and willing to help in any way they could. One employee helped me load material when he saw me struggling eventhough he was off the clock.

Home Depot also beat Lowes on almost every price comparison. Lowes did have a bigger selection of floor tile and paint, however, their price sure showed it. On most tile, Lowes was at least $2.00 or more a box higher than Home Depot. And the paint prices worked the same way.
...

SRunzicker says "True to the show" about Sex and the City

Carrie and the girls surely let it all hang out in "Sex in the City"... The movie stayed pretty true to the HBO series and the girls did not disappoint with their bigger than life personalities. Sarah Jessica Parker did an outstanding job portraying Carrie's devastation at Big's wedding no show. One of the best parts was Carrie "letting him have it" in the middle of the street! I do think something more interesting could have happened to her phone, instead of the little one getting a hold of it. It just seemed sort of lame.

Jennifer Hudson was also amazing in her role as Carrie's personal assistant!
...

SRunzicker says "Was just ok" about Gran Torino

My husband was pretty excited to see the latest Clint Eastwood movie so I agreed to watch it with him. I don't think that Gran Torino was quite up to Clint Eastwood's usual stuff. I thought there was entirely too much racism period. The movie was ok, I wouldn't say it was bad... it was just ok. Ol' Dirty Harry was too soft towards the end. He was rough and tough at the beginning but suddenly turned into a big softie once he knew he was dying. The ending was a bit of a surprise, but I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie yet.
...

SRunzicker says "Texas size taste!" about Texas Roadhouse - Olathe, KS

I was expecting just another steak house when we went to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant... Boy... I could not have been more wrong! There is nothing to compare the Texas Roadhose to in my book. The food was absolutely incredible (mouth watering steaks and appetizers) and the service was outstanding! It is a place that you can take your entire family to... kids, parents, and grandparents and the whole crew will enjoy. There is something for everyone no matter if they're picky eaters!

No way someone can walk away hungry from Texas Roadhouse so be sure to bring your appetites... they definitely do not skimp on the servings here!
...

SRunzicker says "Place for lots of fun" about Pogo.com

Pogo is an excellent way to play online games and meet people from all over the world literally. However, if you are not a paid member, the games you can play are limited and you have to deal with "advertisements" in the middle of your game. Pogo also requires a good chunk of memory from your computer to work.

There are a great deal of good people playing on Pogo, but you have to remember there are alot of not so great people too.
...

SRunzicker says "My Son's Favorite Book" about Where the Wild Things Are

This book was one of my son's favorite books, if not his most favorite. I don't know how many nights we read this book over and over. The pictures are beautiful along with the story. I actually think it helped my son to enhance his imaginative skills as he would always continue to add "his own twist" to the story or ending.

I would recommend this book to all kids.
...

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. The language and story were appropriate for all ages and the life-like animals were amazing. This is one movie you can take your kids and your grandparents to! All will be entertained and attentions kept! If you're into blood, gore, gangs, sex... this is NOT the movie for you!...
