      <description>After years of struggling through my holiday baking with second rate mixers, I finally decided I would make the investment in a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer.&#160; I waited until my local store had them on sale (generally around the holidays) and brought my new acquisition home.&#160; The packaging was, for once, customer friendly, I shortly was looking upon my brand new mixer on the counter, all ready to use. The mixer has now been &quot;tested&quot; through several holiday seasons and has performed perfectly each time. I am a heavy baker and some of the items I bake require hand kneading of the dough preparatory to baking. One year, I thought I'd try letting my mixer take on the task, hoping I would not end up with overly tough dough. Instead, the dough was smooth, perfectly kneaded, and ready for shaping and baking.&#160; What a blessing, especially since I suffer from arthritis. I would recommend (and indeed, have recommended) the Kitchaid Mixer to many of my friends.&#160; Some of them have also made the investment...... </description>
