Rosewood13 says "Biggest and best garden in the neighborhood" about Scotts Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food

Miracle Grow is an amazing product. If you want luscious plants, hearty, plentiful vegetables and beautiful flowers, you've got to try Miracle Grow. When I first plant the garden in the spring, I use Miracle Grow as directed on the package mixed in a gallon milk jug of water. Once plants start to grow, I use the Miracle Grow bottle that attaches to the garden hose for easy application. We did have a garden one year with no Miracle Grow and man, what a difference there was. Using this product, the rose bushes are covered with blooms and bloom all summer. The vegetable garden just seems to double its produce. Whether you are a green thumb or a just a beginner trying your luck, you will never be disappointed with Miracle Grow!
...

Rosewood13 says "Loved Vicks as a child, love Vicks as an adult" about Vicks VapoRub

My grandmother always had Vicks Vaporub on her nightstand. The smell brings back memories of my childhood. My mother used to dab it on us kids everytime we got a cold. She would rub our entire chest with it and put a little bit on our upper lip. It would clear up your sinuses and at least you could breathe easier. As an adult, I still buy Vicks Vaporub for my family and we use it whenever allergy and cold season hit the household. It's a great product and very inexpensive. Since its a topical, kids don't fret about taking bad tasting medicine.
...

Rosewood13 says "Even the worst speller is addicted" about Scrabble Classic Edition

My family loves board games and we try to play often. Scrabble is one our favorites. It is a classic and is amazing how much it helps my teen with his spelling. Spelling has never been easy for him and all his life he has struggled with it in school. Now in highschool, he loves the game. We always play with the dictionary close by just to check ourselves. When they were little, I didn't count points, just mainly focused on the spelling of the words. It is interesting that just because a word is long, doesn't necessarily mean it will count alot of points. When the game is over, he likes to take digital pictures of a board and send to his aunt to show off the great words we came up with. I would suggest buying the newer versions where the letter tiles fit into slots and don't move around.
...

Rosewood13 says "Clint at his best!" about Gran Torino

"Gran Torino" is the best movie of the year! Its funny, heartwarming, sad and suspenseful all wrapped into one. Clint Eastwood did an outstanding performance as an elderly, "old school", veteran, whose militarist habits have alienated him from his family. He makes his opinions and comments well known to everyone regardless how politically incorrect they may be. He comes across as a gruff, prejudice, athiest, who through his "enemy" neighbors, realizes he is no different from them. This is a must see. Clint is a classic and this is just one more great movie to add to his accomplishments!
...

Rosewood13 says "Glorified air mattress" about Sleep Number Bed - Select Comfort

I had the privilege of trying out a Sleep Number Bed while staying at a nice Hotel in St Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota. We were surprised they had two queen sized Sleep Number beds in the room. At first we played around with all the numbers, trying to get see what it was like. There were two of us to a bed and there was only one controller. I think the main problem was trying to find a happy medium between the two with just one controller. If one side was too high, you just rolled down onto the other person. If the number was too low, you touched the bottom of the bed and fell into a hole and the other person fell into the hole with you. We didn't sleep much because all night long we were trying to find a comfortable level for both. The whooshing and whirling of the air going in and out was really all I remember about the bed. I guess they are very expensive and for the money, I'd probably stick with a good old fashion mattress and box springs.
...

Rosewood13 says "Kirby Upright Vacuum - good for muscle building!" about Kirby Vacuum Cleaner

My husband insisted we buy a Kirby Upright Vacuum when we got married "because Mom had one and they are the best". I was impressed by the salesman's presentation and decided to buy one. It did seem to have great suction but that was about all I can say about it. It did not get close enough to the walls and edges without using an attachment. It was too bulky to get under any furniture low to the ground. The attachments were never readily available. I live in a multilevel house and the attachments were always on the floor that the vacuum wasn't. Vacuuming the stairs was a nightmare, even with the attachments. The bags and belts were easy to buy at the local supermarket and sure were easy enough for myself to install. I think the Kirby is a classic and is good as vacuums go, but for the money, it was too expensive for my satisfaction. I admit that I used it for ten years but when the opportunity arose, I chose something lightweight, with good suction, and with...
...

Downy Wrinkle Release is an amazing product. Kudos to its inventor! I hate wrinkles but I HATE IRONING. Unfortunately, I used to let the wrinkles win. I don't have time for ironing for my family every day, so Downy Wrinkle Release is exactly what I was looking for. So easy to use...just squirt and pull gently on the clothing and the wrinkles miracously disappear in just minutes. Works great for t-shirts and casual shirts. Also the original scent smells fantastic!...

Rosewood13 says "Dr. Pepper is the Best Diet Drink Ever" about Dr Pepper - Diet Dr Pepper

Dr. Pepper has been my favorite soft drink ever since I was a little girl. I love that slight hint of cherry/root beer-like taste. With getting older, I realize I need to watch what I eat so reluctantly switched to my first diet soda. There was no comparison to other diet drinks at all. Was I surprised! I couldn't tell the difference in Diet and Regular Dr. Pepper, except for the missing calories. Now I am a total Diet Dr. Pepper freak. I start every morning with a can of Diet Dr. Pepper. Wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too???...

Rosewood13 says "Just great "feel good" movies" about Best Romantic Comedies: My Top List

There is nothing any better than a great romantic comedy. I love to laugh and cry and still end with a warm, happy feeling and a smile. My all time top ten list (and not necessarily in any order) are:

1. The Notebook

2. The Wedding Planner

3. The Wedding Singer

4. Never Been Kissed

5. Sleepless in Seattle

6. You've Got Mail

7. Seems Like Old Times (Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn)

8. While You Were Sleeping

9. 50 First Dates

10. An Affair to Remember

If you've never seen them before, go ahead...I'm sure they will be your favorites too!
...

My husband always insisted on Heinz as the ONLY ketchup we bought, but because of grocery costs so high, I broke down and brought a much cheaper store brand. You know...ketchup is ketchup... WRONG! When I got home, I poured the store brand ketchup into the old Heinz ketchup bottle, just to see if the family would tell the difference. Not only my husband but my kids all knew it was not Heinz. I've learned my lesson! Heinz can't be beat!...

Rosewood13 says "Still as gripping and intense as ever!" about ER

Though NBC's ER is in his 15th season, the show is still as refresh and intense as it ever was. Incredible gripping story lines and a fantastic cast that uses realistic medical terms and techniques as in true ER situations. The actors come across very naturally in the ER and the characters have a way of growing on you. I even miss the characters that I love to hate such as Paul McCrane's - Dr. Romano. I hate to see this show come to an end but I know it will go out on a high note!
...
