      <description>&lt;p&gt;The Braun Oral B electric rechargeable toothbrush is an excellent product that has been around for quite a while, with certain improvements being made along the way. My main concern is that the replaceable head toothbrushes be a) original Braun and not a &quot;made in China&quot; knock-off and (b) that it be soft or medium and not &quot;hard&quot; which could potentially do damage to one's gums. This product has virtually no competition besides its own varied alternative models with different type brush heads AND the Phillips SONICARE electric toothbrush which encompasses a different cleaning technology (ultra-sonic cleaning). Both types have their devoted and fervent followers albeit my dentist says both are good and would not come out in favor of one or the other preference. I have not tried the SONICARE yet. so my mindset is till open, but in the interim I have been a long time user of the ORAL B with high marks of satisfaction with the possible exception of the replacement cost of the brush heads which...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
