http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/RockerMomAdvice Sat, 23 May 2009 17:42:47 GMT Reviews by RockerMomAdvice http://www.viewpoints.com/Whirlpool-Duet-Washer-Dryer-review-c3ea5 <p>I bought the Duet dryer and washer.  At first, I was so happy with them.  The spin cycle is amazing.  But when my daughter became sensitive to dust mites, then my son had head lice, and later we had a kid come stay with us who had bed bugs.  The washer and dryer was not hot enough to kill them.  We even turned our water temp up to 140 degrees farenheit in the home, but you can't control the Duet enough to even soak a garment in hot water.  Quite simply, these vermon grew like crazy in our clothes and then into our home.  Ever since, I've been soaking all our laundry in hot water in a bucket before laundering.  I'm sorry I bought it.  I'm looking forward to buying a new washer and dryer which is hot enough, and my Duet washer and dryer are only a couple of years old.</p>...
