Hot Fuzz is not your regular comedy. It's clever. And it's very British. But it's very, very funny. It's a movie you need to see more than one time in order to get all the humor - and then you can probably still get more from seeing it a few more times.

I'm not a huge Sci-Fi fan, but I absolutely love Torchwood. I'd love to go to Cardiff and check out all these bizarre characters that keep showing up there. A very interesting cast of characters. Great stories - interesting stories and plots. And I love me some John Barrowman - gay, straight, or bi-sexual - he's smoking hot! The writing and the cast makes you care about what happens to their characters. And isn't that what we watch television or a movie for - to be drawn into the story and to care about what happens to the characters - to urge them on, to want the happy ending or to care enough to be sad when something bad happens to them -- to live vicariously through them.

Torchwood is a good reason to stay home Saturday nights... or at least be sure to set your DVR to BBC America on Saturday nights!

I tried to like Chuck. In fact, I was crazy about the pilot. But my interest rapidly drained away episode by episodes. Chuck is no longer on my "must" DVR list. If I catch it, fine - but I won't go out of my way to see this show any more. Too bad - some good actors, some interesting characters, and an intriguing premise -- but it fell flat... quickly......

Dexter is not your average every-day forensic copy. And "Dexter" is not your average cable television show. It is unique with a bent sense of humor. Dexter is intriguing and keeps you coming back for more. When you first tell someone about Dexter, it's difficult to explain that you thoroughly enjoy a series about a serial killer - and that you love the guy! This show has some of the best acting. I love Dexter and can't wait until next season.

Give it a look-see - you'll be hooked.

This was a very entertaining movie. More of a musical than I expected, but then I love musicals. This is a movie that will withstand the test of time - and can be viewed more than one time.

I took my nieces from age 10 to age 22 and they all loved it as did their Mom. I noticed there were a number of little boys there as well. When we were leaving the movie, one of the little boys told his Mom, "That was the best movie I have ever seen." Well, there you have it. A review by a very discerning viewer. Enjoy this one.

I love, love, love Bones. I've loved David Boreaneaz since Buffy and Angel. He's terrific with Bones. There is a terrific cast of characters, very interesting stories and the love story that is keeping us all on pins and needles - can't wait until next week (12/27) for the kiss!! Try it - you'll like it....
