RaqsSharki17 says "Wouldn't waste my money on Schick Intuition. " about Schick Intuition Razor

If you are on the hunt for an appropriate razor, do not start with Schick Intuition. I consider myself a dim-wit for even buying it once. I am giving it two stars because it does shave, but it shaves no better than a dollar-store one-use disposable cheapo razor. First of all, this moisturizes with a bar of soap attached to it. That should have rung some bells. Ladies, do we get the best shave when we use soap (no matter how moisture-filled it claims to be) or when we use smooth and lathery shaving cream? Shaving cream of course! But no, in the commercials they make this product to be the pinnacle of hydration and comfort when it isn't. When I used it (I was trying something new from Venus) on my legs, I got cut twice, it had been years since I'd gotten two cuts while shaving. My skin felt so exposed and unhydrated that I had to finish shaving with some of my Gilette shaving cream. It was horrible. Please don't waste your money.
...

RaqsSharki17 says "My one hair hero for almost 6 years is the Vidal Sassoon Iron." about Vidal Sassoon Flat Iron

I convinced my parents into buying me this flat iron about six years ago, and today it works just as well as the first time I used it. This has manageable heat settings and heats up very quickly, so you don't have to sit around and wait for an hour for your iron to heat up (I have a friend that actually waits an hour and a half for hers, of course, hers is not Vidal Sassoon). I would say that in a good 3 minutes or less, the iron heats up to the selected setting. Now to the fun part, I divide my hair into sections and run my flat iron through the small selections of hair. Swish, swish, and voila! My hair is sleek and straight! Don't be fooled into buying irons that say "wet to staright", there's no such thing, your hair will end up damaged and frizzy. If you use this iron properly (hair completely clean and dry), you will have sleek and luxuriously straight hair. This device has become a must for me. I don't know what I would do without it!
...

RaqsSharki17 says "Avon Skin So Soft Microwave Wax does what a wax is supposed to." about Avon Skin So Soft Microwave Wax Hair Removal Kit

Before finding this little pot of gold I went through dozens of hair-removing solutions such as depilatory creams, other waxes, hair buffing pads, etc. However, the only product that has left my skin feeling soft and hair-free (without feeling stubble) has been Avon Skin So Soft Microwave Wax Hair Removal Kit. I absolutely love it. The only reason why I would not award it 5 stars is because the removing strips run out to quickly (for me while the tub of wax is not even half way empty) and because it's messy and after a while the lid gets stuck because of wax buildup. However, other than that, this little baby does the trick. I use it on my face to remove unwanted facial hair and also to do my eyebrows. One tub usually lasts me about 2 or 3 years, of course I only use it for facial hair removal maximum two times per week. For twenty dollars, I am certainly getting my money's worth with this product.
...
