      <description>&lt;p&gt;The helicopter is gone.&#160; Our previous washer was so noisy it sounded like a helicopter everytime it ran.&#160; Our first and formost requirement for our next washer &quot;quiet&quot;.&#160; I read the reviews about the Samsung and quickly decided this was the washer for us.&#160; We could not be happier, my youngest daugter's room, as well as ours is next to the laundry room.&#160; The laundry essentially sits in the center of our house.&#160;I can run a load of clothes in the morning or at night and it doesn't wake anyone up,even on the spin cycle.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&#160;I put the towels on the Silver Care cycle last night, took them out of the dryer and they smell clean without added softener or bleach.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The clothes are spun to the point that there is minimal water (on the normal/heavy cycles).&#160; Using the HE detergent is cost effective, my clothes are cleaner with a smaller amount of detergent.&#160; And do your kids wear their socks like slippers or shoes, not only my kids do but so do I.&#160; Haven't seen the socks look cleaner, of coarse it...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
