Queenofyorbalinda says "I will really miss this show" about Stargate Atlantis

I truly enjoy the escape a good Sci-Fi TV show or movie can provide especially if you work at home and life is for the most part predictable. I love all the star treks, SG-1, Smallville and especially Atlantis because of the intelligence required to develop these storylines and characters not to mention the special effects and attractive men lol. Atlantis had that little extra touch of fantasy that I think made me enjoy it all the more. Who would have ever thought after Dr. Rodney McKay and Wolsey for that matter made their debut's on SG-1 years before that we would come to love these characters. I still wouldn't kick Jack O'Neill out of bed and I believe the Samantha Carter character is one of the best female role models our daughters could watch on TV. I'm going to miss these guys...

Queenofyorbalinda says "Thank God 24 is back and worth the wait" about 24

Waiting for the premiere of 24 after missing last season was like your favorite music group coming out with a new album and praying it dosen't disappoint. I'm sure I wasn't the only one holding my breath. All I can say is Freakin AAAAAAA!! I started yelling the minute it was clear Tony was alive. As Bill and Choloe's characters appeared I was cheering because at this point there was no doubt 24 was back with a vengeance. The story lines, characters and plots are always intense, complicated, intelligent and fast paced. To be honest I am not a violent crime drama fan so needless to say my friends and family were very surprised and asked why I was so drawn to this show? Maybe it's the uncertain times we live in but I gotta tell ya despite being a fictional character I guess it makes me feel safer thinking there are a few Jack Bauer's out there kickin butt and saving ours. This season is going to be one of the best so I'd jump on this roller-coaster while it's still gathering steam...
