Purplespice says "Has "knocked up" ever stood for something good?" about Knocked Up

First let me say that I really had hoped this would've been funny. I did not like dumb and dumber at all, but would've rather watched that. Is she mentally challenged to even go there with that guy? Not by looks, but he was pathetic...a real looser, and not the kind to get involved with on any level. — Second point is, did we really need to see all of that? If you've never wanted to watch an actual birth, don't look! Been there, done that, didn't want to see it! — I was thouroughly disappointed, I didn't get a good laugh which I thought it was for...and I didn't think it made for a good "couple" type movie, odd type of romance or anything in any catagory but extremely bad! — I also Really, Really like the main actor and actress....think they are great....it was the story that was written bad I'm sure of it. — Why are they getting such great actors/actresses and such poor material? Can we get some new writers in the...

Purplespice says "Top 10 movies I'd actually watch more than once..." about Top 10 Movies of All Time

My number one will always be #1 because it's the first movie I ever wanted to see again. — #1 - Dream a Little Dream. With corey fieldman and corey haim. I was never into swooning over movie stars or any intangable, but the charisma that they both gave off, mixed with the story that plays with imagination and interacts with your mind. Love it! — #2 -Matrix trilogy, — #3 XXX (triple X) with vin diesel, #4 the pacifier (with vin diesel, :-)!...ok anything vin diesel, — #5 The Love letters (Hallmark movie), I like travel through time movies, — #6 Phonebooth, — #7 The Notebook, — #8 Bounce, — #9 My cousin Vinny, #10 Seven brides for seven brothers, I don't know why-it's a musical, but I like it —...

Purplespice says "Alls well that ends well!!!!!!!!!" about The Bourne Ultimatum

I'll start by saying that I watch everything except horror. And usually I'm disappointed with sequels. — There are exceptions, and this is one of them. I thouroughly enjoyed the first two films. This third one really did it for me. The action, the story. I also don't usually watch a movie more than once, unless it's that good, and this one is that good. I hope to rent all three and sit down for a back to back viewing. I love how it brings you full circle and answered questions that where left from the first film...it was awesome!!! I haven't enjoyed a trilogy this much since Matrix. —...

Purplespice says "A huge help in "cutting" down on germy messes!" about Saran Disposable Cutting Sheets

Almost like thin plastic sheets. These are awesome for cutting down on germs. There is a cloth type pad underneath and small holes so you will still want to wash your board. They absorb moisture from the meat so it doesn't slip around or get sloshy. And even though if cutting very hard and ending up cutting through...it still keeps the meat goo from getting into the cutting groves, which is hard to wash out. I wouldn't use it on a counter top for cutting meat...they would do just fine for any type of chopping, veggies, etc....it's the sawing motion that gets through them at times...a straight down chop and it's never gone through for me. I really like using them for the meat mess and making it so much easier to clean my board. I like to know that things are "Clean"! I've used it for carrots on the counter top when my other boards were dirty. Just keep in mind your cutting motion. Chopping shouldn't go through at...

Purplespice says "I'm a little bit disappointed with this product." about Pampered Chef Jar Opener

The jar opener is a white "Y" shape with the top being solid and the grippers sitting at the base of the V section. I used this product unattached to the cabinet and it did "ok" working some of the time and I thought it would be nice for it to be attached under the cabinet, saving me drawer space. Only once it was attached I could barely get anything unlidded. The items that did open ended up spilling because of the pressure needed to push it into the grips. I feel it should have some sort of clamping closing device for it to work properly. Anyway, I went back to using the rubber lid openers. I want everyone to know that I do not use it for pickles and that sort of jar, for me it's the juice lids, and this could be why it doesn't grip. —...
