I use Lipton onion soup especially for making meat loaf and pot roast. I don't make them without using it. It really adds just the right amount of flavor. Just yesterday, I added it to gravy I was making. Yes, I use it to make soup! That is, to add to my own homemade beef and vegetable soup - yummy! I always keep a few boxes on hand, wouldn't be without it . . ....

Since I'm from New Orleans originally, I look for Zatarain's in my local stores here in Texas. I like to prepare this as a side dish, or make it the main dish wiith lots of extra meat. The jumbalaya mix is a good starter, but I like to add my own seasoning and meats for a variation. Enjoy with vegetables and a side salad!...
