Patti1937 says "Hairazors treats every customer as a special guest!" about Hairazors - - Minneola, FL

When I first went to Hairazors I was expecting to just get my hair permed. Marguerite not only permed my hair, she pampered me. She gave me my choice of a beverage. She brought me a little plate of fresh cookies.

From the hair washing with a wonderful massage to the last touch of hair spray she had me felling like a very special customer. Marguerite is hair stylist educated in New York. She keeps up with all the latest styles and she can please the most discriminating of clients. The ladies in the shop are all equally qualified and you can expect the best no matter who takes care of you.

The prices are reasonable for the service and my hair came out looking just great. If you want to feel special just give Hairazors a call and make an appointment. You will be glad that you did.
...

Patti1937 says "Good st Squeezing Oranges, but don't work it too hard." about Waring Waring Pro Citrus Juicer

Hi. My name is Patti and my husband, Dick and I are snowbirds between Florida in winter and Wisconsin in summer. At our Florida house we have three mature orange trees and we freeze the juice in half gallon plastic juice bottles to enjoy during the summers in Wisconsin. We would freeze one bottle while refrigerating and drinking the rest of the fresh juice.

From the time we first started juicing oranges until a about three years ago, we had about 5 juicers break down while making juice. So the appliance we use must be able to stand up to about 45 minutes of work and making about a gallon of juice. Finally, we bought a Waring Pro Juicer as it seemed to be strong enough. This machine worked fine for about 3 years. Then suddenly it seemed that the housing of the motor broke and the appliance was no longer working. It was easy to see that the housing was supported by 3 plastic posts which held the plastic case to the motor base. It was these posts that broke loose...
...

Patti1937 says "It looks great, but...It sometimes has a burnt odor when I brew " about Gevalia CM-500 12-Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker

I sent for Gevalia Coffee to get their coffee maker for free. It came quickly and very well packaged. I opened the package and unpacked the machine and placed it on the counter. The next morning I brewed the first pot and went to get dressed. The first odor I remember was not the smell of fresh coffee, but a smell like something was hot and a little scorched. I called the company and they sent another coffeemaker right out.

In the mean time I kept using the smelly one as (my old one didn't work) and then it stopped smelling so bad. So I kept it going and put the second one aside. The first one gives off the burnt odor on occasion, but I keep using it. It makes excellent coffee. The only complaint I have except for odor is that it is a little hard to get the water into the back of the maker with out spilling some.
...

Patti1937 says "Taste great with a nice crispy skin " about Best's kosher beef franks

We bought these franks at Sam's Club. The hot dogs are fully cooked and can be heated in water in a sauce pan, on the grill, or if you are in a hurry in the microwave. They are practically fat free and are delicious in a bun with onions and mustard. Very high quality....

Patti1937 says "lovely under the sea creatures" about Finding Nemo

Delightful tale of a clown fish and his rambuctous son. Lots of under the sea action. Nemo the little boy fish gets lost and his father takes off after him. Along the way the father meets Dori the forgetful fish.

I am sure that kids will watch it over and over if you buy it for them.
...

Patti1937 says "Vonage is a great way to save money!" about Vonage

We love Vonage. We signed up when the company first came online. And boy do we save money. You see we live in Florida for 6 months of the year and in Wisconsin for the rest of the time. We have a broadband connection at both houses. When we had traditional phone service, we paid $38 a month for a single line with no features or long distance at each home. When we left one home we put the phone on vacation hold for $15 a month. Then when we returned it cost us about about $30 to take the phone off vacation hold. So the two traditional phones cost us $53 a month plus long distance, plus reconnect fees.

Now we have Vonage which uses a phone adaptor plugged into the Internet modem to make phone calls. We take our adaptor with us back and forth and plug it into the Internet modem when we get there. Vonage costs us just $25 a month for local and long distance calling plus taxes.

Then to accommodate the family and friends at both places we added a virtual phone number...
...
