Pamelak says "Frigidaire Aqua Surge Speed Clean not impressive for anything" about Frigidaire AquaSurge Speed Clean FDBB4365FB3

This is a review of my 6 month old Frigidaire Aqua Surge Speed Clean dishwasher. All the push button controls are at the top edge that is hidden when you close the door (which is a very nice but not necessary feature). However this week I will have my 2nd repair on it for an "Error" that keep reappearing along with a loud surging noise that is constant if the door is closed. (This dishwasher is the replacement for an incredibly quiet and excellent LG one that leaked all over my hardwood floor despite 3 repair visits). I was told this appliance was more qiuet than the LG but not so-it is much louder(despite it's decibel ratings) and because my kitchen is open to the living room this is a pain. This Frigidaire dishwasher does not clean very well since the "error" code appeared-( a few chopped mushrooms bits remained on the bottom of my measuring cup only now they were dried and attached, and a sheeting of wet chocolate was dried to the inside of a cup only now I had to use boiling......

Pamelak says "A Life, gas, and time saver!" about Garmin - Nuvi 660

We bought this in July of this year(2008). Wish we had it in England in May. IT would have saved us so much frustration. It is clearly visual and so easy to use. My husband we travelling out of town this weekend and I programed in the address of his destination the night before and he was off and running with map and directions readily available the next morning. We attach it way up to the left of the front mirror because we've heard they are illegal in a few states (ours being one of them). This way it is not obvious, but our town has alot of police and I've never had a problem. I think as long as you're not playing with it en route you're ok. THere a a number of voice choices you can choose from for your audible directions which is a nice feature. I like how you just touch screen the state, town name and address and it's all there for you. We really didn't even have to read the directions it was so self-explanatory once plugged in. IT is such a time-saver. I can't say enough wonderful...
...

Pamelak says "Best Range ever!!!" about LG 30" freestanding gas range LRG30355ST

Purchased this LG-stainless steel, self-cleaning, free standing range for our new home 8 months ago. The whole appliance gets a 5 star from me but I have to say my favorite feature is the "Super Boil Burner" - taking barely 5 minutes to boil water as well as being able to accommodate larger cookware. There are 5 sealed burners total. The cast iron grates are professionally heavy and flat across the top making it easy to slide a pan from one side to the other and they are dishwasher safe. The middle burner allows you to simmer and maintain 700 BTUs to keep sauces at the proper temp.

The oven has ample room with 2 full-width racks. The heating is even throughout. There is a delay-bake feature as well. The oven is self-cleaning with variable times. The oven window is very large and there is an interior oven light so you can check the progress of what's baking without loosing heat by opening the oven door.

Beneath the oven door is a warming drawer with 3 heat settings that keep main courses...
...

Pamelak says "Good use of space for us" about LG Panorama LFX25950SB

We bought the LG Panorama French Door Refrigerator this March for our the home we'd just built. It cools and freezes nicely in the appropriate areas. There are just the two of us and I do cook a fair amount and there is plenty of room on the shelves and bins of the refrigerator section and their arrangement is usefull. I have to say that the freezer section seems a little skimpy. It just isn't convenient to have to "dig" for frozen items in the bottom; although this isn't a major complaint.

The one major complaint both my husband and I have is that the ice tastes very metallic at times. We've emptied the entire icemaker several times, thinking it needed to make a "fresh" batch, but the same problem occurred. This problem is not exclusive to this LG appliance, as we had the same problem before on our last refrigerator even with a water filter on it.

It is a quiet appliance overall. Occassionally we hear the icemaker but it isn't very distracting. It ihas nice clean lines...
...

Pamelak says "Wouldn't trade our Sleep Number bed for any other" about Sleep Number Bed - Select Comfort

We bought our Sleep Number bed about 5 years ago. We both sleep at number 100 (the firmest) and there is just a slight dip on each side of the bed but not enough that we'd feel the demarkation in the middle at all. We bought the second from the top of the line-not sure of the number because they change every few years, but the pillowtop still looks brand new. We've slept like babies on this mattress since we purchased it. We used to go through mattresses every 3-4 years and we purchased only "the best" but after a few months they would lose their firmness-not so on the Sleep Number bed! We even tried the all foam matresses and they still indented after a few months. By the way we are average weight people. I think if you have the mattress at a softer level of firmness you'd notice a center "hump" more than we do. We moved this summer and it was a breeze to take apart and transport. We can't say enough wonderful things about this bed and we'd buy another one (if we ever had to!) We......

Pamelak says "ANGELS IN WHITE FUR" about dog breed Samoyed

Two Samoyeds live with us-Bella, age 6 and Boris, age 5. Yes, I love to vacuum. That is what I must do at least 6 days a week. They shed most of the time (we brush them every week) and they "blow" their coats about twice a year, meaning much of the undercoat comes out in downy piles for about 3 weeks. I get them groomed about twice a year. If they get mud on their fur it only has to dry and it brushes right out. People always ask us how we keep them so white. Their fur will matt if not brushed often.Their companionship, personalities and beauty is worth every bit of cleaning I do (I admit I am a little of a neat freak anyway). I've always had dogs (I am 58) and these two are the most beautiful. They are also the most mischevious. When I leave the house I crate them or they will find things to chew, so I'm rarely gone for more than 4 hours. Maybe this is trainable but I do not know. I had other dogs in the past I could just leave and they'd just hang out. Boris and Bella think...
...
