PalAm616 says "One of the most under rated shows!" about Bones

Bones is currently in its fourth season! Stars Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperence Brennan, a brilliant forensic anthropologist. She often travels the world to identify skeletal remains, and also works on FBI murder cases. She mostly works out of the Jeffersonian Institute (modeled after the Smithsonian) with several co-workers: Dr. Hodgins (T.J Thyne) an entimologist and also the comedian in the show; Angela Montenegro the resident artist/techy whom uses her talents to recreate the looks of the victim mostly for identification purposes, and Dr. Zackary Addy, a fellow forensic anthropolgy intern who assists Bones in cases and tasks. Bones works (and soon develops a close connection) with FBI agent Celey Booth (David Boreanaz) an ex army ranger/sniper who lends his authority and wits in cases. All together, they are presented with various forms of cases, from the tragic to the bizzare, always though, a sense of respect, quirk, intelligence, humor, and compassion is given in all of the performances.......

PalAm616 says "Mac-The Queen of Red" about MAC Port Red Lipstick - Naughty Nauticals Collection

Lipstick is an essential part to the completion of a perfect face of makeup. It can be worn at the office or a night out! For any occassion, lipstick is usually appropreitly called for. Mac is THE goddess of lipsticks! They have a very large selection of colors and wears from pinks and browns, to neutrals and reds. If you're looking for a specific color, Mac has it and more!

Once again, with the creation of Naughty Nauticals Collection, they have created the perfect red. It's hard to find an universal shade of red, and this almost hits it 100%. It glides on easily, doesn't smear and only begins to fade over an extended period of time. Taking a sip from a glass no longer leaves such a vibrant lip stain, as Nauticals leaves only a small trace. To top it off, it's elegant and glamorous, taking one back to old Hollywood.

The ONLY negative is the price (which is usually $24-$32, as is with all Mac lipsticks) making it so it's not easy on the pocket of the average woman. However, it will last......

PalAm616 says "If you want flawless-looking skin, this product is for you!" about Bare Escentuals Starter Kit

Bare Esentuals' Bare Minerals was by far the greatest invention in makeup history! My skin fluctuates between pretty o.k. and terrible. No matter what stage I am in though, Bare Minerals is always there for me 100%!

The starter kit is a must have! The average price is about $60 (best place to get this is at Sephora or their website!) which does seem like a lot. But in the kit you're getting two shades (one lighter and one darker) of your complexion shade, a bronzer, and a mineral veil, along with two brushes and a primer. The primer is an antioxident that helps level the skin and it's good if you have dry skin, if you have oily skin it does NOT increase that problem! Once you watch the included instructional video, you're good to go! It's true that less is more! The average life span of the minerals is about two months, but I'm on my third month! This product helps to cover scars blackheads, whiteheads, and other skin imperfections. If you're wearing a low cut shirt and you suffer from......

PalAm616 says "Best SLR for its price! " about Nikon - D40 Digital Camera

I am a Nikon lover! I personally own a Nikon D80 SLR camera.

Nikon D40 is a fantastic SLR camera for those just starting out, or those with a tight budget. It has all the features you need, such as auto/manual focus, aperture changes, metering, flash etc. etc. It contains 10 megapixels, creating a sharp and detailed picture! It's also quite small and light!

The only bad is that, because NIKON is continuously updating their cameras, it isn't as great as newer models. Those that I know with it wish that it would have even sharper images, and that (like newer models) you could do minor touchups on the camera.

Overall, this is a great product!
...

PalAm616 says "Classic Eastwood dealing with classic social issues" about Gran Torino

The reviewers are right when they say this is 'prime vintage Eastwood'. I was raised on Clint Eastwood films, so I might be a tad biased here. However, this IS one of Clint Eastwoods best performances. He's a hard set man, watching his life slowly change with growing older, and watching his neighborhood drastically change over the years. This film exhibits extreme racism, but it is also an inspiring turn as you watch two very unlikely individuals become the greatest of friends. I highly suggest this film; but beware: it is very depressing, very dark, and very raw. It does have its lighter moments, but in all it's very very intense....
