OmahaNative says "Love the ambilight" about Philips - 42PF9631D Television

I purchased my Philips 42" Plasma w/ Ambilight after receiving several recommendations from friends. They all raved about the ambilight. I once thought it was just a gimmick and it was a tough sell to my wife, but it has been every thing I expected. You really notice when you are watching a TV without it. It is like surround sound, it just ads to the whole experience. The 42" was just the right size for me. I used to think bigger is better and it would not have been that much more to get the 50", but I am glad I didn't. — This TV is heavy so have friends there to help and buy the heavy duty mount if you plan to mount it on the wall. — This is one purchase you won't regret! —...

OmahaNative says "Get the family around" about 2005 Chevrolet Uplander

There is nothing sexy about a minivan, but the Uplanders SUV look is a little more manly than the rest. I drive a lot of different cars for my job including other minivans and I would rate this one the best. Even when fully loaded you are not struggling to get up to highway speeds. Also, even the starter models have a dvd player. Anyone with kids can appreciate that. My in fairly well equipped. It is the LS model and has the dual power doors. I wish I had onstar and traction control. Mine is a 2005 and I plan on driving it as far as it will take us. We are at 50,000 mile right now and have had no mechanical problems. ...

OmahaNative says "Very durable" about G-Shock - GW-300

I have had this watch for two years and in that time I have heard a lot of people complain about watch quality. Not me. This watch has stood up to everything I have done to it. It is vary durable. It keeps great time because it is reset by the atomic clock every morning. It is fun to correct people on the time and tell them that your watch is set to the atomic clack every morning. It is also solar powered so you never need a battery. I have highly recommended this watch to my friends and slowly I see it pop up on their...

OmahaNative says "easy to use!!!!!!!!" about Scottrade

I started with Scottrade about a year ago. I was lured by the $7 flat rate for trade and stayed because the site works just like I want. It is easy to navigate and they are up front with the fees. Some online brokerages charge up keep fees and have a sliding scale for trading fees. Not with Scottrade. I have found it to be user friendly and fun to...

OmahaNative says "Nice phone, great for people that work outside" about Sanyo - SCP-7050 Cell Phone

This is my work phone. It does what I need it to, which usually just means making phone calls. I like the large screen and the Bluetooth has come in hand a couple of times. I would like to have a camera, but I guess you have to give something up to get a phone this durable. It is covered in rubber and has taken a couple of falls from waist level. It seems like it will last the two years until I qualify for a new...
