OhSparklingOne says "I love my Tevas!" about Teva - Hurricane II Greek

I can wear these shoes ANYWHERE! They're so comfortable. I usually don't even care about comfort (as in, I wouldn't skip purchasing an awesome shoe just because it hurt). These, however, are bad-a**. They are good for hiking, fishing, running about, and even going to work! I can wear them the whole way through my shift (even on the 12-hour days) and not be hurting/frustrated/annnoyed. I seriously recommend these shoes. I am a shoe fiend and I know what shoes are good, which ones are bad, which ones are made poorly, etc. (I even work in a shoe store!), so trust me when I say that these shoes are simply magnificent. They're not expensive either. They look kind of manly, but I still think they're cute. In order to not look like a les, though, I have to wear them with a cute outfit (you should too...and don't skip the makeup). I recommend them all the time to people who hike and do things outdoors and even indoors!!!
...

OhSparklingOne says "There is nothing better than listening to The Wall." about Pink Floyd - The Wall

The album's overriding themes are the causes and implications of self-imposed isolation, symbolised by the metaphorical wall of the title. The album's songs create a very approximate storyline of events in the life of the protagonist, Pink. Pink loses his father as a child (Waters' own father was killed in Anzio during World War II), is oppressed by his overprotective mother, and is tormented at school by tyrannical, abusive teachers, each of these traumas becoming "another brick in the wall". As an adult Pink becomes a rock music star, his relationships marred by infidelity, drugs and outbursts of violence. As his marriage crumbles, Pink finishes building the wall and completes his isolation from human contact.

Pink's mindset deteriorates behind his freshly completed "wall", with his personal crisis culminating during an onstage performance. Hallucinating, Pink believes that he is a fascist dictator, and his concerts are like Neo-Nazi rallies where he sets his men on fans he considers...
...

OhSparklingOne says "The University of Tennesse, Knoxville, is a rip-off!" about The University of Tennessee

Where does one start ranting about the University of Tennessee (UT)? I'll start with the tuition. I may also end there. So, UT is highly overpriced. When my grandmother worked there circa 30 years ago, the tuition was 75 dollars per semester and now it's over 6,000 dollars per semester. Now, I'm no fool - I realize that inflation is a huge part of this. However, it is not the only reason. The reason is because it's a greedy, unfeeling corporation, just looking to make money. It's a business. Like everything else.

Another issue is the faculty and classes. The classes are PACKED and no professor takes time to actually even get to know students' names. Everyone is just a nameless face. They have no idea if a student misses class.

Yet another problem is the people who attend. The school is full of young, redneck, morons. The (majority of) girls are very senseless. They seem to always be doing one of these things:

1. Swiping their parents' credit card(s)

2. Taking off...
...

OhSparklingOne says "The Samsung Messenger is not anything special." about Samsung - Messenger Cell Phone

The Samsung Messenger is, at first, seemingly amazing. Upon further use, it has proven to be less than astonishing. There are problems with text messaging, mostly. For instance, yesterday I was in the middle of a very long, important text and the phone just turned off. I had to turn it back on and retype the entire text message. Another texting issue: sometimes the space button moves the cursor to the beginning of the first word and capitalizes everything. So, if one was to text the word, "Hello," and push the space bar to keep going and putting the rest of the message, it would read, " ARE YOU COMING TO MEL'S HOUSE TONIGHTHello." So, basically, if you are a fast texter, or text while driving and don't really look at the message until later or right as it's being sent, you look like a moron. Also, sometimes, if the slider has been slid up (opened?), it will say on the screen (the little Abc/ABC/abc icon) that it's not on caps lock. However, if one tries to text, it's capitalized! So,...
...
