I was fifty years old when I first went to Disney World. We went to the Magic Kingdom first and I loved it. When we arrived they were playing Davy Crockett King of the Wild Frontier. I'm an old Tennessee girl and I loved that. I always have to ride Small World first and we make it the last thing we do at the Magic Kingdom before we go home. I've been to Disney World five times now and I'm always like a child. We have to go through the Haunted Mansion several times. My caramel apple at the Confectionary is a must have. My mouth is beginning to water now just thinking of them. I wish that every person in the whole world could go to Disney at least once in their life. I promise you it's worth the money. Cinderella's Castle is just a must see before you die place....

The Jerk with Steve Martin has always been my all time favorite movie. I remember the first time I saw it at the the theater. I didn't even go to the restroom because I was afraid I'd miss something. My friend gave it to me for my birthday and I'll keep it forever. If you haven't seen it please go rent it tonight....

My daughter is 33 years old now and I will always thank the people of Sesame Street for helping me educate her. Before she went to school she knew all of her shapes, colors and letters mostly thanks to them. One day I cut her sandwich corner to corner. She said," You cut my sandwich into a triangle." She said they taught her this on Sesame Street. If any of their people read this I want to tell thank a heartfelt thanks from me forever....

I'm 58 and don't have a lot of time or desire to use make up. My daughter on the other hand has thousands of dollars in make up, so she should know the good ones. As a Christmas present a few years ago she bought me Mac Studio Fix Foundation. Now I'm hooked for life. I put it on in the morning before I go to work and that's all I need for the day. Their lip gloss also last longer than their rivals. I say all younger and older girls should try it....

The Rainbow Fish is a colorful and meaningful book. He has everything, but nothing. It just goes to show that more doesn't mean that you are happier. When he learns to share is when his true happiness begins. This little book is a must have for all parents to teach their children how to give of oneself. ...

The Giving Tree is a wonderful book for children of all ages. It tells about a tree who loves a boy so much he gives him everything he has to give. It reminds me of God's love for us. In the late 60's I was at a benefit for the kidney foundation in Nashville, Tennessee. In a world that was full of long haired men and woman of that day, a bald headed man walked across the stage. Many years later I found out that this man that stuck out like a sore thumb at that time was Shel Silverstein the author of the Giving Tree. I wish I had gotten his autograph. I love all of his books.

I've been a teaching assistant for 23 years and I've read thousands of books to the children through the years. Love you Forever is terrific and it always makes me cry. The book is beautifully written and you can't beat the price. The pictures are so colorful. The picture where the man is rocking his mom reminds me so much of my own mother who is in Heaven. All parents need this classic to keep for their children until they are grown....

I was born and raised in Tennessee, but I've been a Texan for thirty six years now. To this day I can't say which one I love the most. They're both home to me. My husband and I used to travel the pipeline so we've seen a lot of Texas. My favorite part is west Texas with it's blowing sand. One of the most gorgeous towns in Texas is Alpine near Big Ben National Park. I would advise anyone that has never been to Texas to put it on your next vacation list. Whatever you want, Texas has....

I have been to Disney World five times. Four of those five times we've stayed at the All Star Movies and we love it. If you have children it is the best price and the cutest place to be. I don't know why anyone would pay a higher price for places that aren't as geared to children as the All Star Movies, Sports and Music. I was fifty years old the first time I went and I thought I was staying in Toyland. Disney does everything right. The food courts have some good food for reasonable prices. The swimming pools are big and inviting. By all means go to Disney and take it from an old gal stay at the All Star Movies just once and you'll be hooked....

I think Joel Osteen is one of the most motivating people I have ever heard. He always has a genuine smile on his face wherever you see him on TV. I thought his dad was good, but he's even better. We bought his first book and I can see why it was on the New York Best Seller's list for so long. I can flip any channel on the TV until I come to him and I have to stop if only for a few moments. We should all take a lesson from him on how to live a good life....

Two years in a row when I went home to Tennessee to visit my family we went to Ruby Tuesday in Columbia, Tennessee. The first year that we went it was about twenty of us. We sat for at least an hour and a half before they even seated us. When they finally did the waitress told us that no one wanted us because there were too many in our party. The next year we thought we'd try them again because my daughter loves their food. This time I thought I'd play it safe and make reservations for twenty. When we got there (on time) they had given our tables to another party without asking their name. We called for the manager who was very cordial and said he'd seat us ASAP, and give us free appetizers. After about an hours wait we were seated not together, but at different tables in the same location. The reason we went in the first place was so we could have a family dinner together. They did give each table a free appetizer. I have been to Ruby Tuesday again in Texas, but my experience with them......

We just returned home after staying last night at the Drury Inn in the Woodlands. We left the coast going inland because of the tropical storm headed our way. This is one of many times we have stayed in Drury Inns. We're always met with smiling faces. My husband loves their free breakfasts and afternoon snacks. I would advise anyone, especially if you have pets to try Drury Inns. I promise you won't go wrong....

When we go to Olive Garden I always get their soup and salad. You can get all of the free refills you want, Also their bread sticks are always warm and tasty. We go there pretty regularly and sometimes we get take out. It is enough salad that we can have some left over for lunch the next day.

Bath and Body Works are the best. I have tried just about every item in their stores through the years. I don't think I've ever not liked something. The anti-bacteria hand soap is great. I especially like the squirt bottles. When I come in from working in my yard I just squirt a little in my hand and they are clean. I would advise anyone to shop there. I get emails from them telling me of all the up coming sales....

I'm a big fan of anything made by Yankee Candles. I have their tarts and candles sitting all around my house. My friends and family know how much I like them so I get a lot of them on my birthday and at Christmas. When I buy gifts this is usually the first store I visit at my local mall. My favorite thing to do is to clean my house and light up one of my candles or tarts. Trust me you can never go wrong with Yankee Candles and Tarts....
