OKELkids says "This is the Swiss Army Knife of Strollers!" about Phil and Ted's Sport Double Strollers

As a mother of four (which include a 2 year old and a newborn), this is by far the best heavy duty stroller I've ever owned. The design is amazing. I first saw a Phil and Ted's double stroller at a children's museum and absolutely had to find out the brand, it is by far the most compact double stroller on the market. The look is sleek and so is the function, you don't feel like you need a "wide load" sign attached to it while you're running it down the sidewalk or between the aisles of a grocery store.

The manueverability is excellent, you can turn it easily with one hand if needed, which it's almost alway needed! The brakes are easy to engage and are solid, the wheels are large and can handle bumpy terrain, I especially like the option of a stationary or rotating front wheel. The frame is strong and can handle my tired six year old as easily as it can handle my two year old or newborn.

It is the Swiss Army knife of strollers. The top seat with the adapter bar can handle......

OKELkids says "Earth stewardship with benefits!" about Freecycle

This is a truly great site, I don't know what I did before Freecycle! It's a great way to give stuff and get stuff within your community. Perfect for re-using and re-purposing your junk or someone else's into a treasure. It's being a good steward to the earth, with benefits! It's a bit safer than Craigslist too, because there are moderators and you have to be a member of a group to participate. This also helps cut down a pretty significant number of "no shows", though they still do occasionally happen. It also helps cut down the internet trolling you'd get on the other site. Anyone rude, demanding or belligerent will almost certainly get kicked off, eventually. You find there are enough "regulars" on the site that there is more of a sense of community sharing what they can. On the giving end, it's easy. You throw something up on the board to offer and eventually get a taker or two (or three!). You choose who you will give it too, sometimes the person most in need of what you're giving away,...
...

OKELkids says "2007 Honda Odyssey - Touring, the ultimate family van" about Honda Odyssey - 2007

I love my minivan! As a family of six, with four kids ranging in age from newborn to 10 yrs old, the Honda Odyssey minivan, Touring edition is the perfect family vehicle. We are not the type of family that trades their cars in every couple of years for the newest model. Typically, we buy a car and use it until many years later, the cost of the repair is more than the value of the car. So our cars have to have excellent value and an excellent reputation for running well and running a LONG time. Our Honda Odyssey Touring has delivered. We'd always bought the base line models, thinking "we'd add on later", finally we treated ourselves to one with all the bells and whistles. The bells and whistles were worth it! The built in DVD player is a must with the kids, especially on those long road trips to visit family (why could we have had that growing up?!?). The leather seats - easy clean up, the seat warmers in the drivers & front passenger seats - fantastic! The navigation is great,......

OKELkids says "Clearw're, ugh!" about Clearwire

No way would I use this Clearw're service ever again, if you want to call it that. They could give it to me free for a year and I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. The sign up was easy, the set up was equally quick. That's where the good stuff ends! The connection was so - so at best and when we upgraded our windows to vinyl, double pane windows there was nothing. You would have thought that we drilled a 10 mile hole in the ground and dropped our house in it, sealed it in steel and concrete and then tried to access the internet. We had to leave a window wide open just to get a signal, try that in freezing weather in the middle of winter, just to check your email, no thank you!

So we called them up and told them the problem. First guy said he couldn't help us (as if we were going to happily go away paying for a non-existent service). After lots of passing the buck, they said we had a two year contract with them and we'd be charged a cancellation fee... what?!? No...
...

OKELkids says "The Total Money Makeover is a REAL financial solution" about The Total Money Makeover: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness

Okay, yes! We drank the Total Money Makeover "Kool-aid"! We jumped into it with both feet and are following it with "Gazelle intensity" as Dave likes to say. This book really spoke to us, we were the cliche'd financial family with "too much month at the end of the money". We were "sick and tired of being sick and tired" when it came to our finances and this book helped us turn our finances around 180 degrees.

Dave Ramsey speaks to you in this book with kindness and humor, without glossing over the fact that you may have made some stupid financial mistakes to have to need a Total Money Makeover in the first place. Though this book isn't specifically a Christian financial book, Christianity has a prominent position in it, citing Bible versus to emphasis key points. The book is filled with inspirational stories of couples and families that have gone before you with financial situations similar (or worse) than what you may be dealing with and tells you of their successes, what great......

OKELkids says "Home Depot's Behr Interior Paint, superior paint, superior price" about Home Depot Behr Interior Paint

Home Depot's Behr Interior Latex Paint is an excellent quality paint at a reasonable price. I've used it in several homes, for multiple projects. The quality and consistency are outstanding. The finish is alway very smooth & even. I don't have to worry about going back for multiple coats. The paint comes in a variety of finishes, the eggshell, being my favorite! It's a nice soft sheen that is durable and washable, with four kids in the house, that's important. The latex paint is also fairly low in odor (another important point with young children in the house), I'd tried other paints in the past where the odor was strong and lingered for days, not so with Behr Interior Latex Paint. The clean up is excellent and easy, saving me lots of money, because my quality brushes can be used again and again. With great quality, fair price, easy clean up & hundreds of colors to choose from, this is my first choice in interior latex paint.
...
