NuttySnoopyGal says "Great in year-long hot climates" about Frontline Plus

I have used Frontline for 14 years (my oldest dog is 15) and never had a problem. I lived in Florida for 7 years and my dog never had fleas. When my oldest dog was very young another dog in the house had fleas but we considered that dog too old to apply a pesticide (Frontline is a pesticide) but we treated my dog, and since they both slept in the same bed, both dogs were rid of fleas! When I worked at PetSmart, I cannot tell you how much of the over the counter flea stuff was returned because it didn't work. Yes, Frontline is expensive, especially if you are treating multiple animals, but for our household, it is all we will use.

One tip: be sure to take off your animal's collar for 24 hours when you apply a treatment. One time our dogs had fleas within a week of treatment when they had NEVER had fleas using Frontline for numerous years before. My vet says sometimes topical flea treatments that go between the shoulder blades get absorbed into the collar and not distributed...
...

NuttySnoopyGal says "We had a blast!" about Carnival Cruise Lines - Sensation

My husband and I had never gone on a cruise before, so we didn't know what to expect. I cannot say enough good about this ship and its staff! Our formal dining room waiter was incredible and every staff member we encountered was friendly. We took a 4-night trip from Port Canaveral, FL to the Bahamas on this ship. If you take this cruise, I have only 2 suggestions: first, don't book 2 shore excursions in Nassau with less than 1 hour in between, and second, try not to book a room at the very back of the ship. We went snorkeling in Freeport (it was FABULOUS!) and did a glass bottom boat tour and the city tour in Nassau, and NONE of the excursions returned when Carnival said they would. They all went 30-minutes to an hour over. As for the room, we were at the very back of the ship where it was nice and quiet, except when we were coming into port and leaving port, when we could feel the engines, etc. doing their thing.

In Nassau, if you decide to go to Atlantis, you can...
...

NuttySnoopyGal says "Fabulous phone for the price!" about VTech - 5.8 GHz Quad Line Cordless Phone

We kept buying $20 phones and replacing them at least once a year, so this was our upgrade. I was a bit concerned about having an attached answering machine (I like my units separate, so if one breaks, you can replace just the broken unit), but I can overlook that. Mine came with 3 handsets and the answering machine. This phone has good sound quality and has just about everything you can imagine, as previously stated by other reviewers. The digital answering machine can sometimes be a bit hard to understand when you play it back, but that seems to be the case with every digital machine I've had. These have a long battery life and are quite durable~my 2-year old has put that to the test! I would buy this set again....

NuttySnoopyGal says "Lighthearted, fun read!" about Janet Evanovich

If you're looking for a fun read on the beach or by the fireplace, pick up a Janet Evanovich novel. The numbered ones are the Stephanie Plum series, and they are my favorites. I believe there are 14 of them now, including "Visions of Sugar Plums." Stephanie Plum makes me feel good about my own life! Set in Trenton, NJ, Stephanie Plum is a bumbling bounty hunter surrounded by a wacky cast of characters, some of whom work with her and some of whom she's chasing. She has 2 men in her life, one she loves and two she lusts after. Grandma and Lula are my 2 favorite characters. You will laugh out loud and these books don't take long to read. It's worth reading them just to see how many of Stephanie's cars will get blown up in each book! If you've never read a Stephanie Plum novel and you pick up a novel somewhere in the middle or end of the series, Janet Evanovich does a good job of catching you up on the back story in a paragraph so you're not lost, but start with "One for the......

NuttySnoopyGal says "Fabulous 1st MP3 player!" about Samsung K3 MP3 Player

This is my first portable music device, and I didn't know a thing about them. I saw this one on QVC and grabbed it. Mine came with a nice Belkin case and 6 months of Rhapsody free, so I paid a bit more than at the Big Box stores. Most of the functions are intuitive (I didn't need to read the manual), but it took me a bit to figure out how to control the volume. Also, I didn't know that it didn't come with an A/C adaptor. Walmart has the home/car adaptor combo cheaper than anyone I've found. I purchased this because it had an FM tuner, which I use regularly. It is very easy to burn your music to your PC then transfer it to this device. I had never done that prior to this purchase. I bought my husband a used IPod to take with him on his deployment this past summer, but we're glad we have this little gadget because you aren't limited to what ITunes has in stock. You can get your music almost anywhere! I went on a cruise last month and didn't take the A/C adaptor with......
