MuttReport says "Caribou beats Starbucks hands down" about Caribou Coffee

Caribou whole bean coffees are the best I have found, and I've tried coffees in every price point from cheap to ridiculous. Without fail, they are smooth yet robust and Caribou offers blends from light to dark. They are also offered in many grocery and "super stores", making it convenient to keep on hand. Now if they would only offer flavored varieties!...

MuttReport says "Great acting, great writing, great conflict, great movie." about Gone Baby Gone

Gone Baby Gone is a rarity - a film with a great plot and a moral dilemma to chew on for those who crave something deeper than the usual Hollywood fare. The acting is spectacular. No one overwhelms. The plot has gentle twists to keep those looking for an easy to watch but interesting flick.

Those who prefer a bit more thought provocation will be guided through a moral wrestling match that does not have a pat end. It will keep you thinking long after the credits roll.

The cinematography and direction make for truly memorable scences - the kind you will be recalling years from now. If all of this isn't enough, the decidedly dark plot is occassonially interrupted with some very down to earth humor. There are no super heroes or super villians here, just ordinary people doing there best to deal with the darkest parts of the human race....

MuttReport says "Definite crude guy movie. Ladies with sense of humor will laugh" about Knocked Up

The worst case scenario of a one night stand on every level. Knocked Up is so crude, it's funny. A basically stable married couple adds hilarious relief for those who can't stand constant bathroom humor (though one of the couple's funniest encounters takes place in the bathroom). The main characters grow up, sort of, throughout the film. Never sticky sweet, but somehow endearing, Knocked up will get a chuckle out of even the most uptight viewer....

MuttReport says "The best vacuum for busy families." about iRobot Roomba 550 Bagless Robotic Vacuum

In a home with four kids, three dogs and various shades of white carpet throughout, it is virtually impossible to keep the carpets looking clean and fresh on a daily basis. The roomba has been doing just that for over a month now. It does need a little suprevision. The machine will stop and tell you it needs its brushes cleaned when there is a lot of pet hair - but with daily use this happens infrequently. It also occasionally goes under a peice of furniture and gets stuck coming back out. (Though in a month of daily use, this has happened only twice on a sofa with a particularly low profile.) Roomba does pick up very small toy peices, but they are easily retrieved from the bagless dirt bin. It goes around larger "clutter".

The lighthouse and virtual wall units work well as virtual walls, but don't seem to be effective when in use as a lighthouse. This is not a big deal though, since Roomba will cover the entire area it has access too even without the lighthouses. For large areas......
