http://www.viewpoints.com/aboutme/Mthr2twinsn1 Thu, 17 Apr 2008 18:34:01 GMT Reviews by Mthr2twinsn1 http://www.viewpoints.com/Whirlpool-Duet-Washer-Dryer-review-3e701 <p>I looked for over 6 months before I purchased this set.  We bought the Duet HT set and have not been disappointed at all.  </p><p>I read consumer reports as well as talked to numerous friends and sales people about the different front loading washers and dryers including all options and pros and cons.  I learned that many other brands had an issue with the seals on the washers needing to be bleached to alleviate the smell of "wet clothes" approximately 2-3 times per month.  I have had this set for 2 months and have yet to have the "wet clothes" smell occur.  </p><p>We have washed and dried up to 42 pairs of childrens size 6 and 7 jeans at once in this set and were amazed that each pair actually came clean.  </p><p>A few quick thoughts: </p><p>This washer also has no problem fitting and getting clean a king size comforter.  </p><p>We no longer have to close the laundry room door to watch television or have a conversation, they are very quiet for the power that they have.  They are not silent but definately much quieter...</p>...
