MrJohnD says " Frigidaire Professional Series is wonderful" about Frigidaire Professional Series Dishwasher

I moved into my new residence recently. One of the more compelling reasons we took this place was the dream kitchen. This kitchen is, first of all, huge. It has all stainless steel appliances including the Frigidaire Professional Series dishwasher.

This unit has the option to run both racks, the bottom rack only, or the top rack only. The normal run time for a full wash is over 90 minutes, but running just one rack cuts that time by one third.

The cycles you can choose are: pots and pans; normal wash; or china crytal. There is an option for sanitizing and high heat wash. There is also an option for no heat dry.

This dishwasher also has a delay start option, which you can have the unit programmed to go on after you leave for work, or after you go to bed.

There are many compartments inside for small or large utensils. The racks have rows whbich can be folded down for accomodating a large bowl or something unusual.

Best part of this dishwasher is how quiet it is. It can be on and...
...

MrJohnD says "Beautiful toaster" about kitchen Aid Household Toaster

This kitchenAid toaster is beautiful. It has a white finish and a white plug. All the controls are easy to work. The best thing is the bagel button which adjusts the toaster to toast, not burn, the bagel. The bread s, english muffins, and bagels all come up perfect every time. The toaster was less expensive than some other brands and I cannot imagine spending more money on a toaster than what this one costs. It does everything just right. Best thing is that it's cool to the touch. It also doesnt make any noise when it's working. It also looks nice on the counter. KitchenAid, to me, always had a good reputation for kitchenware and appliances so the fact that this product is as good as it is comes as no surprise. I had a KitchenAid dishwasher in my old house and it was great. Great quality and workmanship. Same as the toaster. Also KitchenAid is also noted for their mixers and this too is a testament of their great quality.

I bought my toaster at Macy's in their kitchenwares department....
...

MrJohnD says "Weight loss pills" about hydroycut hydroxycut

Hydroxycut weight loss supplement in pill form (and also drink packs added to a bottle of water). These pills really worked for me as i wanted to shed my winter pounds. I workout 5 to 6 times a week. I eat healthy and drinks alot of water. So, these pills added to my regimine was easy to do. I shed 10 pounds easily. I fit in my clothes easier and that's what I was hoping to accomplish. The pills are taken 30 to 60 minutes before a meal and 3 x a day. The side effects are almost non-existant. I remember years ago when the Stacker 2 pills were out. They had many side effects: like your heart pounding like it wanted to jump right out of your chest!! lol << This is NOT the case here, in fact they make a non-caffeine version of the pills which will agree even with the most sensitive individuals.

I found the pills easy to take and the effects to be wonderful. I also tried the drink packets and while the results are the same, the powder is not easily dissolved in the water, and no matter how...
...

MrJohnD says "This era's "Odd Couple"" about Two and a Half Men

Two and a Half Men features Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones. The similarities between Charlie/ Alan and Oscar/ Felix is striking. The era is different but the clashes are very similar. While the is no Murray "the cop", there is Berta, the housekeeper, there's Mom, and of course the kid!!!

The wit and sarcasm in the show is clear and well proportioned. It interwines and weaves itself within the sometimes weak/thin story lines. But this wit is what makes the show so funny. The fact that the story lines are sometimes shallow doesn't mean that the cleverness involved in injecting the funny stuff should be overlooked. After all wasn't Felix and Oscar doing the same things in their daily plights as well??? The chemistry shared by Jack and Tony is, to me the same chemistry of Charlie and Jon.

The kid is getting older now and maybe the show can be 2 3/4 men !! But I'm sure they will figure out a way to keep that angle clever as well. He has great timing and delivery of his lines...
...

MrJohnD says "This Slow cooker is a mid-week dream!!" about Rival 38501

The Rival 38501 Slow cooker/ crock pot is a wonderful tool for busy people who enjoy a home cooked meal without the muss and fuss!!!! Now... I have to say this right up front: prepping before you cook anything is always necessary and this is no exception. Peeling and chopping the celery and/or carrots; browning the garlic and/or onions; or even browning the chicken all is done beforehand. The difference here is that once everything is ready, you place the food in the pot and let it do all the work!!

This model has 2 essential requirements for me: First it will cook through it's cycle and go to keep warm automatically. So if you are running late, you can know that dinner will ne there waitng even if you are an hour late. How forgiving is this ??? Even the dog is going to let you know you are late if he needs to go out when you finally arrive!!!! lol

Second: it has 4 cook settings which enable you to go up to 8 -10 hours low temperature or 4-6 hours at a higher temperature. This also...
...

MrJohnD says "SpecialK is a great cereal, but....." about Kellogg's Special K Diet

Hello.

The Special K diet, to me, involves the Special K brands mixed in with the general good-sense diet/ good health habits we all should have. Namely drinking lots of water; exercising; and watching what you eat. Now I do eat Special K to start my day. I often will add blueberries or a banana which gives you more flavor choices and adds vitamins and anti=oxidants which are also beneficial. Even with the added fruit, Special K is relatively low in sugar, and therefore low in calories.

During the remainder of the day I drink lots of water; eat a sensible lunch, no snacking (other than some fruit in the afternoon, and finally a healthy dinner. Snack bars and meal bars to me are unnecessary if you plan ahead and make a conscious effort to stick to your game plan and eat smartly. I dont eat processed foods and I exercise. But is this common sense (or uncommon for some..lol), or a "Special K" attribute?? I think your own mind is the best dieting tool. Healthy eating, regular exercise...
...
