MotherGrizzly says "PureVia Sweetener is a Great Sweetener!" about PureVia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener

I was thrilled to receive the sample of Purevia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener from Viewpoints because my recent return to work means a huge influx of coffee--and for that, I need sweetener. I typically use Splenda but I was happy to try something new, and especially, something that is natural rather than a chemical concoction. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste that Purevia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener offers.

What is different about this product is how it is derived from the stevia leaf, which is a sweet, all-natural herb that contains no calories or carbohydrates. For those of us looking for a sweet way to spice up a coffee without adding unwanted calories, this sweetener is a great choice. This is also a safe sweetener for people who have diabetes--because it's not sugar! I wish that it was available when my grandfather, who suffered from diabetes, was alive--because he loved using Sweet 'N Low in his coffee. The Purevia would have been a healthy choice for...
...

MotherGrizzly says "AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel is AWESOME!" about AmorePacific Treatment Enzyme Peel

Sephora, my guilty-pleasure-beauty-product-shop, provided me with a deluxe sample of AmorePacific's Treatment Enzyme Peel when I recently ordered some items. Always willing to try new things to improve the look and texture of my face, I was excited to give this a try. What fun! AmorePacific has become a favorite product in my arsenal of beauty treatments. With its gentle exfoliation, my skin is brighter and appears more healthy.

I have been using AmorePacific's Treatment Enzyme Peel for several weeks and have noted an improvement in my skin's texture and luminosity. At first, I was skeptical because I have not had success in the past with "peels." However, AmorePacific's Treatment Enzyme Peel isn't really a "peel" per se--it's a water activated powder that foams a bit in your palms. You massage it into your facial skin, wash it off, and feel an immediate difference. My skin feels smooth, clean, and not stripped. Although I have sensitive skin, I have not had any irritation or breakouts...
...

MotherGrizzly says "Hilarious "Game Show" Featuring Elmo!" about Sesame Street - Elmo' Sing-Along Guessing

When my older son--now seventeen--was a toddler, he loved Sesame Street's Elmo's Sing Along Guessing Game. We owned the VHS tape of this funny Elmo special featuring the red, furry monster as a game show host. Now that I have another toddler, I was on the hunt for a fun DVD to give to him as a treat. I spotted Elmo's Sing Along Guessing Game at my local Barnes and Noble, and decided to give it a whirl! Now, this Elmo DVD is a favorite of both of my boys!

Elmo's Sing Along Guessing Gamefeatures Elmo as a host of his own game show. The premise of the game show is for guests to "guess" the answer to a musical question; for example, Elmo asks the "game show audience" to determine what body part Kermit is referencing in his song "I Love My Elbows." When the contestant hears the whole song, he/she jumps on a trampoline, flies through the air, and pushes a large button to answer the question. Of course, since this is a Sesame Street production, a lot of fun mishaps ensue! Elmo starts to answer...
...

MotherGrizzly says "The New Annotated Dracula=A Comprehensive Work of Art!" about The New Annotated Dracula

I spotted The New Annotated Dracula in my local library and commenced drooling. A foreward by Neil Gaiman, author of Stardust? Annotation in the margins about the Victorian Era, feminist criticism, psychoanalytic commentary--all sorts of wonderful discussion about one of my favorite books, Bram Stoker's Dracula? I was immediately hooked; I'm currently teaching the novel to my juniors in British Literature, and I have been referring to The New Annotated Dracula as my magical tome of wonder. It features so much interesting information that I have learned so much about this story that I love to read and teach.

Dracula is a story that is familiar to a contemporary audience, and The New Annotated Dracula offers new perspectives about this well-known tale. Featuring notes from author Bram Stoker, comments from literary critics, and fascinating information about the Victorian period. I feel like the annotations are a treasure trove of knowledge for me to navigate! There are maps, dates, pictures,...
...

MotherGrizzly says "Huggies Gentle Care Sensitive Baby Wipes Do the Job!" about Huggies Gentle Care Sensitive Baby Wipes

Let's talk for a moment about baby wipes--now, we all know what they are designed to do: clean our little one's bottoms. Yet who would have thought that baby wipes could be so different? Since my second son, Timothy, was born last November, I have plowed my way through a trove of baby wipes and discovered that I keep returning to Huggies Gentle Care Sensitive Baby Wipes quite frequently. Formulated for sensitive baby skin, these wipes are thick enough and strong enough to tackle some of the more frightening "jobs" in Timothy's diaper.

Huggies brand products are often on sale at my local CVS, which keeps me buying them in large quantities. However, I am not one to skimp on quality for a decent price--I learned my lesson buying a lesser-known baby wipe that was thin and irritating on Timothy's skin. I appreciate the the Huggies Gentle Care Sensitive Baby Wipes are gentle and meant to cleanse sensitive skin without irritation. They are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and formulated without...
...

MotherGrizzly says "Get Your Hazmat Suit Before Spraying Oust Air Sanitizer " about Oust Surface Disinfectant & Air Sanitizer

I am always in the market for products that can make my house smell fresh and clean, while sanitizing surfaces. I have a baby, a teenager, a cat, and a Canadian husband--and we all leave messes around the house. I decided to try Oust Surface Disinfectant and Air Sanitizer in its Clean Scent because its claim that it "sanitizes the air" was appealing to me. Previously, I used the Clorox Anywhere Hard Surface Daily Sanitizing Spray which works wonders on my hard surfaces but cannot kill airborne germs. I figured, why not try the Oust product. I am typically not a fan of aerosol air fresheners, but I was willing to put my hesitation on hold. Armed with two cans of the Clean Scent spray, I headed home from the store, ready to tackle the germs head-on.

Oust Surface Disinfectant & Air Sanitizer comes in a 12 oz. spray can and costs about $4.00 in my local supermarket. It is available in three scents: Clean Scent, Citrus Scent, and Outdoor Scent. I chose the Clean Scent over the other options because......

MotherGrizzly says "Buzz Away Sore Gums with this Teether" about Learning Curve Buzzing Bee Massaging Teether: Nature Sensations

My not-so-little-little guy, Timothy, is going to be eight months old on July 2nd, and he's teething up a storm. His two bottom teeth just popped through, and he's chewing and drooling more than ever. A quick survey of his closet unearthed a teething toy I didn't know he received: the Buzzing Bee Massaging Teether by Learning Curve's The First Years. I love the First Years brand; they made these simple plastic keys that are Timothy's favorite to gnaw. So when I found the Buzzing Bee Massaging Teether, I wondered if he would react to it with the same gusto. Since it has a massaging feature, I wasn't sure if he would enjoy the sensation on his sensitive gums. Was I happy to discover that not only does he enjoy the teether, but he definitely gets a kick out of gum massage.

It didn't take long for my son to figure out that biting on the bee's rubber/plastic "antennae" triggers the vibrations. He laughs and keeps biting it, which I think is so funny and also great for his understanding of cause......

MotherGrizzly says "Polish...in a Pen? Genius." about OPI Nicole by OPI Nic's Sticks

Now, I'm a fan of professional manicures like the next gal, but when I want to do my nails myself, I turn to my favorite polish brands--one of which is Nicole by OPI. When I discovered that the Nicole line has a brand new product called Nic's Sticks, which are polish pens, I was ready to give it a try. For just $7.00, Nicole Nic's Sticks are a great way to buy a portable nail color that gives a great, long-lasting wear.

Nicole Nic's Sticks are nail polishes that are packaged in a convenient pen. They are so easy to use--just shake, twist off the cap, pump the pen's bottom (where the polish is stored), and paint away. With twenty-four shades from which to choose, there is a shade for all occasions and for just about everyone. The twist cap prevents leaking and is easy to replace and remove. I enjoy pumping the polish and watching it appear in a small droplet on the attached brush. Since I selected the dark red color "Do You Deliver," I decided to give myself a pedicure with the polish to......

MotherGrizzly says "Love how my skin feels after using this product" about Neutrogena Microderm Cleaning Pads

I'll admit, I try a lot of different facial cleansers and have my favorites. So, when I received some free samples of Neutrogena Microderm Cleaning Pads in the mail, I decided to give them a whirl and see if I could add another product to my cleansing arsenal. Lately, I have been unsatisfied with the way my skin has been looking--pregnancy did a number on it, and I've been trying (unsuccessfully!) to get it back to its original glow. Was I surprised to discover these wonderful cleaning pads! My skin, just after a few days of using the product, is smoother and more youthful in appearance.

Never having used a Neutrogena product on my face before, I did not know what to expect. Each of the dry, round pads are individually wrapped, so they don't stick together. They are cleverly made; fashioned into a little "mitt" that fits on your fingers, one side has exfoliating "bumps" that do wonders to get dirt and makeup off of your face. On the other side of the pad, smooth stripes that contain glycerin......

MotherGrizzly says "For a wonderful touch to your recipes--get these tomatoes." about Tuttoroso Crushed Tomatoes

Making "gravy"--or tomato sauce--is something that my grandmother could do with her eyes closed. She was the epitome of the Italian food diva; she could cook up a storm and feed an army with her delicious gravy. I try to keep the tradition alive in my own kitchen by whipping up a delicious pasta meal, complete with a tomato sauce that I make using Tuttorosso New World Style Crushed Tomatoes with Basil. These canned tomatoes have a fresh, juicy flavor that makes my recipes really shine. I'm almost as good as my Grandma in the kitchen when I have a can of Tuttorosso in my recipe arsenal.

Family owned and operated, Tuttorosso has been in business since 1942. Tuttorosso has a reputation for fresh, full-bodied flavor that enhances homemade meals. The 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes can be used in so many different recipes and it will always yield flavorful results. This evening, I made a "gravy" from scratch using the crushed tomatoes as a base. I enjoy an acidic tomato sauce, and the Tuttorosso......
