I picked up the Crystal Clear monitor by Safety First for only $18.00 at out local Wal-Mart thinking this would hold us over until I could order or pick out another company/model of monitor that I had my eye on (very expensive), and as soon as we connected the Crystal Clear set I was in love! It is so clear (and no static, not even in our two story home)  and you can hear every tiny sound in my son's room, his moving and breathing, that I am now thinking we will just save the money that we would have spent on an expensive monitor and keep this $18.00 wonder!
