Oh my WHAT A RELIEF FOR THESE DIAPERS!!! Thank you WAL-MART!!!! I wish I had tried them from Day 1.

When I first became a new mom I wanted everything name brand (I know not very smart). At my baby shower we were given swaddlers and Huggies and used them the first couple of months and kept on with the Swaddlers just because they, ah...well, SWADDLED i guess. Well, later testing/use would prove that the Swaddlers would leak (especially in the night) and the Huggies had leaked a couple a of times too.

After I quit my job to be home with my son i started looking for alternate ways to budget our shopping expenses. I decided to try the parent's choice brand and was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!!!!!!!!!! It has never even leaked on us yet!!! I'm a paranoid mamma and would often get up to change him after several hours in the night... sometimes when I am just too exhausted and can't wake up to do it though, I am excited to say that the Parent's Choice has literally held it's weight!! ...

I think one thing that every parent needs to realize is that not every baby is the same - I know, I know what an insight!

When my baby was first born he was quite "colicky"(or had colick, was colick etc...) as they called it at the hospital. Now let's check out what was happening in the mind of a FIRST time Mother when she heard this and had NEVER heard the name COLICK before...I thought to myself, my baby was gravely ill, sick, born with some illness that we had to fix. I quickly asked the nurse: "What can I give him for that?" And she said, "nothing, just try and burp/rub him and be patient." I thought to myself "Surely man has made SOMETHING to overcome this illness - i mean, he's just a little newborn babe just hours into this world and IT won't stop crying; whatever IT is, it's TERRIBLE and is putting this child in grave hurt/danger. This illness MUST be severe and something MUST be done about it before his little lungs get overworked and he develops some NEW sickness...

Messenger says "Enlightening" about A New Earth - Awakening to Your Life's Purpose

Eckhart Tolle has long been a FAVORITE inspirational teacher of mine since "The Power of Now." I hope that the many who have found this work inspiring will later read or listen to "The Power of Now." However, this book is MORE enchanting if you've read or listened that one FIRST then read his latest book "A New Earth." For me, A New Earth was more of a refresher and not really NEW. Many of the concepts were already taught in The Power of Now. If this is your first Tolle, then many on the seekers path will find this refreshing and will more likely feel that Eckhart has helped to escalate their efforts when reading or listening to this book.

Those who do not know yet that they are "seekrs" of something will surely awaken their higher self to this purpose after engaging in one of Eckhart's many books or CD's. I find that he relaxes me as well as bring about a Peace that is much needed within human kind. What he talks about and teaches is not NEW or SPECIAL by any means because...

Much like every other parent here, when it was time to update my baby from his "infant" car seat, I went to every online review site to see what everyone had to say about the car seats I was interested in.

From a few local moms in my area, I was told the Britax was the best thing since sliced bread!! Some of my friends with much older children still kept their Britax for their second child. I was not satisfied though, I was a mom on a mission and had to satisfy my own opinion of who decides my child uses what and not the other mom's. During my investigative measures I found that there were some "OFF" reviews about the Britax. The number one concern was ofcourse the PRICE for what is being offered. Some people felt that other car seats were COMPARABLE for the money (including having side impact protection); however, every search engine always pulls up the Britax.

In any case, I decided to narrow it down to the Britax and did my research on just that for about 3-4 weeks. Given...
