Melon111 says "I am a Cookware Convert" about Calphalon One Nonstick 16-Piece set

For years I thought a pot is a pot is a pot. Then I got my first piece of Calphalon. Now I'm a convert. Food never cooked so evenly; clean up was never so quick and easy. And the 16-piece set affrods you so many options. After many years of fine cooking cuisine, a few of my favorites (the chef's pan) got a bit scratched up. I couldn't wait until I got a replacement. There may be more xpensive cookware, but none to match this set. ...

I got the Garmin GPS for my husband last Christmas -- another guy gadget for his collection. As for me I use maps...or so I thought. I was up in the north Goergia mountains and had the device with me. I got sidetracked and soon became lost. Lord knows i thought most roads were paved!!! Much to my surprise I ended up on a dirt road with the only inhabitants homes decorated with coaches and wash machines on the front porch!!! I was so glad I had the Garmin with me -- got me out of there in no time with anll my teeth still in my mouth!

P.S. No long afterwards it began speaking only in French! I think it had PTSD.
...

Melon111 says "White Castle Burgers - A yummy throwback to my youth!" about White Castle Microwavable Hamburgers

I moved to the South seven years ago. While there is a lot to experience and enjoy here, I do miss certain things from my youth in the Midwest. White Castle Burgers remind me of fun times cruising the boulevard and stopping off at the "castle" for a late night snack. A very yummy comfort food best served at 3:00 AM. Particularly good when you add extra pickles, cheese and mustard. Yes, you could go to the Southern alternative, but for the deal and for real convenience stop by your local freezer section....
