Mdharper says "It does it's job, but a pain in the rump to open and close!" about Black & Decker Classic Toast-R-Oven

I would definitely not have even bought this oven if I had not gotten it so cheap because the box was gone and I had discount coupons on top of that. — When you pull open the door of this oven it pulls out the wire rack and when you close it the rack is pushed back in. Here lies the problem. Because it does not go in and out smoothly, it takes two hands. It has enough resistance that it feel as if it's rusted. You have to put one hand on top of the sometimes "hot" open to pull the door open and then to close it. You absolutely cannot close it with one hand without feeling like you are going to either tear the oven up or burn your hand. I am now going for option one! — There were several of these ovens when we bought this one and noticed this problem. We opened the boxes and checked out 4 others. All of them were just like this. For some reason we were certain that we could fix this when we got home and...

Mdharper says "Drip...drip...drip....and drip even when the pot is not there!" about Mr. Coffee 12 cup programable

This coffee pot offered everything I needed. I bought it about 3 months ago and am ready to trash it right now! It was a fantastic price for under $25 and I could smell my coffee when I woke up in the morning. I also love the fact that you can see how much coffee is in the pot. Most coffee mfg's are making the pot so that we can't see how much coffee is left and I did not want one like that. Nothing could be worse than getting 1/4 cup of coffee when you are expecting a full cup. I also loved the clock and timer in green neon so that I can see it at night. I especially love the auto turn off after 2 hours. That is great! It also has the feature of getting a cup of coffee while it is still brewing, I just can't remember the name of it right now. It has a little lever on it to stop the coffee from dripping, when you take the pot from underneath it. I have never used that feature because I am never awake when it is brewing. I always set the timer...

Mdharper says "You've Got Part Of It Right........." about Pizza Inn - Greenville, NC

While I do agree with your review of Pizza Inn pizza and their fantastic buffet that also includes a wonderful variety of dessert pizza. I have not seen many Pizza Inn restaurants that are not up to par as this one is. I have only dined there one time and I would not go back even if it were the only one left. — The restaurant itself is in a old building and it's past time to do some upkeep. It just appeared to the naked eye, as not very well kept. The booths and tables were not in bad shape. The walls seem to be too dark and their wasn't enough light inside. The buffet that held the pizza was very small compared to other Pizza Inn's that I have eaten at. It was set up so that two people could not walk around one end of it at the same time. That was pretty aggravating when there were a few people up there at one time. — I'm glad we were just passing through and didn't have to depend on that Pizza Inn to dine out at. We would surely have chosen any...

Mdharper says "Wash after wash, year after year, it's still like NEW!" about Land's End

Land's End is my favorite clothing to wear. I have purchased everything from swimsuits to raincoats to socks and shoes and underwear. And believe me, wash after wash it all holds up just like it did when I bought it. I have several long sleeve cotton shirts that I have had for a few years. Each time I wear them if I get warm, I push the sleeves up. Later on in the day as it cools off and I want the sleeves pulled back down, they go right back to my wrist and fit perfectly. They are not stretched out from being pushed up at all. As a matter of fact, if I don't get it dirty, I can fold these shirts up and put them back in my drawer and wear them twice each time between washing them. That little 5% of spandex makes all the differece in the world. — Their swimsuits are awesome too. I take an aerobics swim class about 2-3 days a week at the Y. I always rinse my swimsuit out, but they put so much chlorine in the pool that you can still smell it. Before...

Mdharper says "Great Card with Perks" about Chase - Amazon.com Platinum Visa

I've had the Chase Amazon Card for a few years now and have really enjoyed using it. I have received several $25 certificates for spending so much on it. We use it each time we make any large purchase and my husband uses it for business. We haven't very often carried a balance and have never been late. I did have to talk to Customer Service one time a few months ago about a problem with a credit that did not show up, and they were very nice. — There is a place on Chase.com that you can set up reminders for yourself. I have mine set up to send me an email if my bill is not paid within five days of the due date. I also have my account set up to call me 2 days before the due date, if it is not paid. They can also call you if a purchase is made above X amount of dollars. (It's a recording) You can protect yourself with email or telephone notifications from them. That is one of my favorite things about this card. No more accidental...

Mdharper says "Life IS good with this little red LG..." about LG - AX5000 Cell Phone

My husband and I got these phones a while back when we renewed our contract with our cell phone company, Alltel. At that time there was a sale on them for buy one get one free. We decided we liked all the features and especially liked the LG brand, so we choose this phone. It was important to me to have a camera phone and it was important to my husband to have a phone to access the Internet. We both wanted to stay in the flip phone family, which we had always had. This phone suited both of us well. Not to mention the color red appealed to me so much. — We love our LG ax5000. It is a great phone with a lot of side kicks. Some of my favorite features are downloading new ring tones, taking pictures, Internet, text msgs and the speaker phone. I love pressing one button and I have the speaker phone on. This phone is so user friendly. We have never had any trouble with either of our phones. If and when we do have to replace them.....it will...

Mdharper says "Takes a lickin' an keeps on giving fun & excitement to all ages!" about Air Hogs

I bought the Air Hogs- Reflex helicopter for my husband for Christmas. He is a kid at heart and I knew he would enjoy it. Well, it was better than expected. Once out of the package and charged for about 30 minutes, the fun was just beginning. He has played with this every single day. I use the word play very lightly, because he does not think of it as a toy. It must be very easy to operate because my husband does not have very good hand/eye coordination. He was never very good at playing Nintendo games with our kids, but always had an interest in remote controlled vehicles. It appears so easy for him to control the Reflex, that after the first day he was practicing different strategies. Within the first week he has learned to maneuver all over the whole house. — It has crashed several times and the blades are so flexible that you just have to twist them back into their original position. He also found a...
