Marquita42 says "Absorbant, leak-proof, and fits tots of many sizes" about Mother-ease One Size Diapers

I tried MEOS with their airflow cover at the suggestion of my sister, when I decided to switch to cloth shortly before the birth of my 3rd child, and have not looked back! I remember all too well the big, nasty blow out diapers my first 2 babies had as newborns using disposables. All of my babies have had a tendency to poop about every 5-7 days as newborns, so it was a huge mess involving a complete change of clothing and a sponge bath at the minimum.

Since I switched to these cloth dipes, those nasty messes are a thing of the past! My 4th is now 20 months, and I cannot recall even one big blowout with her or my son, using the ME diapers. Often with poopy diapers, there is some soiling of the cover, but it is extremely rare that I ever need to change clothing after a soiled diaper. With snap in liners, I can add extra absorbancy for night or running errands. They are a bit bulky, but I do not have to change soiled clothing like I did with disposables.

Another thing I like......

Marquita42 says "Large, but very safe and fits kids of many sizes" about Britax Regent

I recently purchased a Britax Regent for my 3 year old son, and overall I am quite pleased with it. I have 4 children ranging in age from 19 months and 25 lbs to nearly 8 years and 50 lbs, and this seat would work for any of them, which I find amazing. My 2 younger ones fit at the lowest strap level, and the 2 older ones fit at the second level. Even my oldest would have plenty of room to grow in this seat! I am now regretting have belt positioning boosters for my 2 older children, as the regent would be much safer for them.

I found this seat quite easy to install, once I had lugged in to the car. It is rather cumbersome, so if you need a seat that you can move from car to car easily, this is not it. There are 2 reasons I did not give this seat 5 stars, and both are comparisons to my all time favorite car seat, the Britax Roundabout. The regent has elastic on each side that is supposed to be for anchoring the straps out of the way while the child gets in. However, the elastic......

Marquita42 says "Safe, easy to use and install, overall a great car seat!" about Britax Roundabout

We bought a Britax Roundabout a few years ago on the recommendation of a friend who is a car seat technician. The seat was for our 3rd baby, so we had already had experience with other seats, and this one was by far our favorite. Britax safety ratings are high, but this seat is also very easy to use.

Installing with latch or a seatbelt is fairly easy, for both rear and forward facing. It has built in lock offs, so you don't have to worry about always losing the locking clip (as happened with our other car seats). Harness tightening and loosening is super easy, and buckling is a snap as well. The harness straps velcro to the side of the seat so they are out of the way when you put baby in. No more digging underneath your child for the straps.

This is by far our favorite car seat so far, and definitely worth the money! That said, if you only have one child or your children are spaced far apart, I would recommend a taller seat with a higher weight limit, such as the Britax......
