Yes, this is not your mother's book club. No dated cards to return by a certain date or receive books that you didn't want. You go online and select from a wide array of categories, not limited to whats in the monthly mailing. ALL BOOKS ARE $9.95 AND THERE'S NO SHIPPING CHARGE! YES! YOU HEARD ME RIGHT! NO SHIPPING CHARGE! Your selected books are put on you list and they'll send you one book a month. Of course, it you want more at any one time, you just go online and order. And you get as many books as you want at $9.95 without a shipping charge. I've belonged to other book clubs and for the amount of shipping that's been charged I could have gotten another book or two from Zooba. I've cancelled my other book club memberships and swear by Zooba. — And hey, what a GREAT NAME for a book club. If your're Into books or book clubs, check out their website, www.zooba.com, and see for yourself. —...

Malachi48 says ""And I have recommended it to a friend."" about Book Closeouts

If you're a book lover, buying gifts for book lovers, a parent of a child who buy books for them, or a teacher who wants to add to your class library check this site out. The have such a wide selection you should be able to find something that you just have to buy. The prices are fantastic! (Almost 1/2 price of publisher's prices for childrens' hardback books). Their shipments arrive within a few days to a week and they include a $5 discount coupon on your next purchase. Can't always get specific book titles, but then I don't usually use them for that. However, I can usually get books on the various themes we do. I am a preschool teacher, who is looking to grow my class library. They also run monthly specials. My thing is books and stationary. Last December, their special ran something like, you got a $1 credit toward every book you buy. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. LOL —...

Malachi48 says "Can you give Geico commercials less than one star?" about Geico Insurance TV Commercials

Geico commercials saturate the airways. You can't watch any tv without at least once, no I mean twice hearing them. Yeah, what is with that running two commercials back to back. Get them off the air. I wouldn't buy Geico, if they paid me or no other company would insure me. The Gecko doesn't do anything for me either. Oh yeah, "They'll literally hand you an English muffin....," and than "not really..." Give me a break, the dumb Gecko lies. That kid racer is the most annoying character I have ever seen on a commercial. I'd like to slap him upside the head, "not literally." I TRIED PUBLISHING THIS WITHOUT ANY STARS, BUT THE SYSTEM WOULDN'T LET ME! SO, THAT ONE STAR IS A LIE ON MY PART! —...

Malachi48 says "Great for staples but......" about Aldi Food Stores

I have to agree with other reveiwers, that staples come at a great price. I was expecially pleased with their canned tuna because I was getting national brands and getting black specks in them. I was leery of trying Aldi's tuna and was very satisfied with it. Their frozen skinless, boneless chicken usually has less fat attached than from your regular grocers. Since it is frozen, it is usually easier to remove. However, besides the chicken, I will only buy their 90/10 ground meat. Any lower ratio has more fat than you get at the regular grocery stores.. I have also bought corn beef from Aldi's that taste was so permeated with fat that I tossed the whole piece of meat. I was buying the beef hot dogs but they also are full of fat, something I have never had with any other hotdog and these were the all-beef. — I definitely find great bargains on staples and many of their produce items are of excellent quality. At least you...

Malachi48 says "When looking for teaching materials, I go here FIRST!" about Oriental Trading Company

When comparing prices for purchasing materials for my preschool class such as: arts and crafts items, behavior incentives, toys and games; I have usually found the best prices and quality at Oriental Trading. I order online at their website and usually receive my items well packaged within a few days to a week. — They show they care about their customers and the community. I called about a shipment I never received. They reshipped and told me, if first the package was to arrive to donate it to a group in my community that could use it. Never had that happen before with any other company. — I'm a very satisfied customer of Oriental Trading Company. —...
