MNLaura says "Love these diapers" about Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers

We use the Seventh Generation Diapers on our 15 month old daughter and have been using them exclusively for the last 6 months. These seem to fit her better than any other diaper we have tried. The tabs are wide and stretchy and the diapers are soft and absorbent. We have not had any problems with leaking during the day. We do use a Huggies or Pampers Overnight diaper because our daughter is a heavy wetter and has leaked through the Seventh Generation diapers at night. Other than that we love these and love that they are chlorine-free. We get them from Amazon.com's Subscribe & Save program and pay about $38 for 120 diapers (Size 4) and that includes shipping. I highly recommend these diapers! We use the Seventh Generation wipes too and love them!!
...

MNLaura says "Better than I thought it was going to be" about Bounce Dryer Bar

I received a sample of the Bounce Dryer Bar in the mail a few days ago. At first I thought it was going to be too strongly scented for my family, since my husband has sensitive skin and I don't like using heavily scented products in the laundry. I hesitated as to wether or not I should use it because of the strong scent, but I went ahead and attched to the inside of my dryer anyways. I have dried 2 loads of laundry with the Bounce Dryer Bar so far and it is better than I thought. My clothes came out static free, soft and lightly scented. Not quite the heavy scent that I thought it was going to be. It is also nice not to have to worry about putting a dryer sheet in with the load. As long as the bar stays attached, I will contiune using it and will post an update in a few weeks.

November 12, 2009 update: So far so good! I have not had any problems with the bar breaking or crumbling or coming off in the dryer. It still has lots of usage left after using it for the last 5...
...

MNLaura says "Daughter liked it but sick of the brown chunks" about Parent's Choice Milk Based Formula with DHA/ARA

I have been using Parent's Choice Milk Based formula for a few months. I have noticed recently though that I have been finding brown to dark brown chunks in the formula and the formula is inconsistent from can to can. Sometimes the formula is lighter is color and more sticky and sometimes it is darker yellow and more dry. I was told by PBM Nutritionals that the chunks are from over-cooked pieces of the milk. It is sprayed and then dried and sometimes some of it will get burnt. Today I was feeding my daughter and noticed a larger than normal black chunk in her bottle. I immediatley stopped feeding her. No thanks. That is poor quality control on the company's part. Would you drink milk if there were brown chunks in it?? Not me. I will no longer be using Paren't Choice Milk Based formula. Too bad since my daughter liked it and did well on it....
