I have never in my life dealt with such horrible customer service as I did when I called to make an appointment with a gift certificate that was given to me as a birthday gift at Salon Elegance & Day Spa. When I originally called, the manager that answered the phone was horribly rude and after yelling at me telling me "Let me tell you something" about making my appointment, we finally agreed upon a scheduled date/time. On that date, she called me to tell me that she had to reschedule/move my appointment because there were some issues with the time she originally scheduled me for. When I explained to her that I couldn't because I was at work, she once again started yelling at me saying "I did you a favor by giving you this appoinment, now you have to do me a favor". So with reluctance I agreed with whatever she wanted knowing that I wasn't going to be showing up for any future appointments there. It made me feel like they already got their money so why honor the services that...

MLC512 says "EMACIATED HORSES USED - HORRIBLE!" about Rancho del Campo Horseback Riding

While my husband and I were in Aruba on an ATV tour of the island, we cam across a company called Rancho Del Campo that provided scenic horseback riding tours. When I saw the horses, they were extremely emaciated. Their hip bones and back bones were protruding. A few of the horses eye lids were droopy from infection, they weren't properly shoed and they had oozing & bloody wounds all over their legs. When the horses were "tied up for rest", the reps giving the tours started to kick a horse. The horses weren't given any water and were eating the wooden posts they were tied up to. These horses were extremely depressed and lethargic. I hope that PETA can investigate this and put a stop to this business. The horses were exhausted, emaciated and thirsty.

Unfortunately all it did was emphasize the lines around my eyes. It also dried my skin out and I applied moisturizer prior to putting it on. Maybe I'm not made to wear mineral makeup...?

I've only tried this product in the Natural Organics shade and because I have medium skin tone, it doesn't show up. Actually it looks flat and dull on my cheeks. I'm going to have to reutrn it. If you have medium to dark skin, this product line seems to fall short. However, if you have fair skin, I'm sure it would work perfectly.

I LOVE this movie! It has the animation a child as well as an adult can enjoy and the dialogue is awesome! The dynamics of Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy is priceless! My husband grows old of the movie, but I can always watch it when I'm looking for something funny and uplifting!...

I've been a Revlon fan for years. I used this same foundation in my 20's and I thought being in my mid 30's now that I should try something "different" and possibly "bette". I've tried everything and every type of foundation out there and guess what, I keep coming back to this one. It glides on, makes my skin look like "skin" not makeup on my skin. Doesn't settle into the wonderful little wrinkles around my eyes that I detest AND, it doesn't fade. Living in Northern Virginia, it tends to get just a bit humid out here and this foundation stands the test of time for me! Totally recommend for someone that has "combination skin". I tried the Normal/Oily Skin version of this product and found it too drying around my eye area. Even though I have combination skin and this is for dry skin, my "T-Zone" doesn't look shiney during the day! For the price, it's great! A bottle of this, lasts me around 3 months.

In my quest to switch to Cruelty Free products, I walked into an Origins store, uneducated and totally oblivious to what they had to offer. The sales rep wasn't trying to "sell" me, she was trying to figure out what exactly my concerns were and what I was trying to achieve with my skincare routine. She recommended Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash since my face tends to be extremely dry in the winter time and oily in the summer. I was assured that this cleanser would work year round for me. I was a little hesitant, considering the price, but I thought "Why now, I can always return it if I don't like it". That was almost 4 months ago and I'm seriously hooked! My husband who used bar soap on his face, is now hooked and I had to buy him his own so he'd stop using all of mine! This product does exactly what it says - cleans and doesn't dry out your skin!

It's tough for me to be objective about anything when it comes to Hawai'i. The first time I went there, I instantly fell in love with the Hawai'ian people and the Hawai'ian traditions. I flew to Hawai'i from Virginia (8-10 hrs) to meet up with my husband who was working there at Honolulu Airport. Basically our hotel room was being paid for by his company since he was working, but I'd like to comment on this hotel and it's amenities. First, all of the staff are sure to extend the "Spirit of Aloha". It's important to "feel" this when visiting Hawai'i, otherwise, really what's the point. Our rooms were spotlessly cleaned and the ladies that took care of cleaning them, were always nice, cordial and pleasant to speak with. The hotel's amenities were superb. The only drawback was that the hotel was under renovation, but hey, you can't really fault them for trying to make it a better place to stay in. Our room had a comfy king sized bed with a flat screen TV and a wonderful view...

This store opened up not too long ago and I finally convinced my husband to enter through it's doors with me. AWESOME is all I can say! This store has a seafood, BBQ & sushi restaurant in it that's unbelievable in price and quality. Surprisingly the people that work there are incredibly nice and helpful, not something you tend to find in this area. I do some of our grocery shopping there and I even buy cat food from there since it's organic and cruelty free. They carry many "specialty" items as well as a lot of main stream items. The "food court" or buffet area has an enormous amount of food and choices. All fresh and great quality! Completely awesome store and I recommend it to anyone who lives in the area and hasn't been there yet! Here's information on this store's location:

First and foremost, I have to say that this is by far the best weight loss/weight maintenance product I have ever had. I've tried almost all the BSN Lean Dessert flavors and haven't been let down! They seriously taste so good, you almost feel guilty drinking them. I generally mix the powder with skim milk. It can be hard to mix it up thoroughly if you're doing it by hand. I found a little trick - fill glass with 1/2 of the liquid you're intending to mix with the powder, then put powder into glass and top with remaining liquid - stir well. I bought the "trial packs" on-line at www.bsnonline.com, before investing in the regular size of 1.39-Pounds. I'm looking forward to purchasing all the flavors. I started off buying the Banana Cream Pudding and Cinnamon Roll. They have many yummy flavors to choose from - sure to satisfy anyone's craving and sweet tooth while not tasting like it's full of chemicals or fake!

It took me a long time to get the hang of this make-up. I've invested in it 3 times and 2 out of those 3 times, I've given the product away or trashed it. It just wasn't working for me. It seemed to settle into my dry lines and emphasize them - not good! I finally started using a daily moisturizer on my face and decided to give it another "tap & spin". Well, now I love it! My skin glows. I know that sounds cliche', but it does. I look like I've spent a glorious day in the sun - I look healthy. The only drawback is the brushes tend to be a little prickly on the sensitive areas on my face. With a good moisturizer, this product rocks! When I used this product without a good moisturizer, it made my face look really greasy. When I used an average moisturizer, it tended to dry my face out. I guess you have to find that perfect balance!
